Why, when someone is realistic about a sending off you see it as a wind up.
If you cannot debate with out resorting to the old it's a wind up tactics then there really is no point in carrying on with this topic.
Thank you.

You keep using the word realistic whilst misquoting or misunderstanding the FA rulebook. So far you seem to be attempting to get a rise out of man City fans on the forum after registering soon after a contentious defeat in the FA cup. call me cynical but I smell a RED herring.

Errr.....no. Every fucker and their dog saw that there was fuck all wrong with that challenge.
Also, I've never met or heard about "realistic football fan". The handfull of realistic City supporters that ever existed hanged themselves late-90's. You couldn't deal with that shit by "being realistic".
Just a couple of points... there were no dogs in the ground to witness the tackle ... However from a realistic point of view a professional like Kompany should realise that when both feet leave the ground...you will be walking... And I am afraid that is what happened so it is realistic.

I can't understand why people do things like this. How sad is it for someone to go out of their way to visit a City website, register as a member and then write posts purely to get a rise out of City fans? How shit, boring and pathetic must their life be that they need to do something like this to give themselves some entertainment?
It always amazes me when I read City articles on various news/sports websites and 99% of the comments are by opposition fans, with the majority being United fans. I hardly ever would read articles about other teams, never mind be bothered to comment about them!

However it doesn't alter MY point of view with regards to the rather unprofessional tackle.
On a forum we are all entitled to a point of view with out being accused of being on a wind up.
If you truely believe this to be a wind up then you must have a low wind up tolerance level.

Did you get your football education from SkySports? It sure sounds like it. Read the rule, it has to be deemed careless, reckless and endangering an opponent for it to be deemed worthy of a red. This bollox of he had two feet off the ground he had to go is a Sky pundit's mantra and is complete nonsense. If everytime a player has two feet off the ground a red card will be shown then the sliding tackle has effectively been outlawed from the game. If this is the case it's a sad day for football.

Are you saying that people actually come on this forum just to wind people up?
Surely in todays fast paced 24/7 living no one would have that much spare time on their hands..... Would they?

That is the problem with fans today... I make a comment about the red card that some disagree with and all of a sudden I'm on a wind up.
You see I watched the game wearing my realistic glasses not my blue tinted glasses.
What would yoube saying if say... Vidic ...had made the identical tackle.... You would all be saying it was a straight red...

Tut Tut .. is that any way to talk to a fellow football fan?
What happened to good old forum debates.
We are all entitled to an opinion.... I am sorry that you do not agree with me when I am right.
