I just dont get the decision to rest Joe ? We are out of the Champions League, so I would think that besides finishing first in BPL, that the next most important thing would be defending the FA Cup ! Sure, maybe Joe wouldnt have stopped those shots, but perhaps if Joe was in the game, those oppurtunities wouldnt have come about? Plus, its United, you gotta put your #1 in there....heck shoulda rested him against Sunderland, we lost that anyways.

Cant help but think if Joe had been in net today being vocal at the back things might have been different. I think Mancini is great.. and we fought back well.. but he made a bad decision today resting Hart.

But if we had of rested him against Sunderland, you would of been saying if Joe was playing we would have won so it's a no win either way.

There is no such thing as resting a fucking goal keep ffs and should never happen unless you want to give your number 2 keeper a go in a lessser game.

Hart should have played but I thought Lemons did ok,. Not seen this mentioned anywhere else, but De jong was badly at fault for their second, he clearly pulled out of the tackle with Wellbeck for some reason - no commitment there at all.

That kick out of goal straight to their player was the reason they scored from it...Hart would not have kicked a ball like that fizzing along the ground to a rag.

He was just as much at fault there as our so called hard man was at pulling away from blocking the ball for their other goal.
