United a team in crisis?

Postby zuricity » Mon Jan 09, 2012 7:28 pm

1. Players using crap internet chat sites like twatter ( possibly mispelled) for manipulative purposes.

2. Through the entire game yesterday , players clearly balling and
shouting at each other ( jones vs wio) , ( wio vs evra). git with a head rug, bollocking wio in the second half ...

To be fair there have been times when people could have said the same about us, even though we knew the truth. Very interesting to see so many examples in ONE match though. You could be onto something.

They still won though didn't they. And we were fantastic in the second half but it's them who'll go through to the next round, not us.
I wish people would stop going on about 'the rags demise' or 'the fall of their empire'.
WHEN we're league champions we can start to say that.

I'm not sure about demise just yet.

What yesterday proved is that we now have the mental edge over them. While they were busy shouting at each other in the second half and making simple passing errors due to their nerves, we were proving we have the togetherness and spirit in our squad to fight and this was without our natural leaders in Kompany, Barry and Hart.

Look at it this way, we played with an extra man for forty mins at the swamp and scored 5 conceded 1. They played at the Etihad with an extra man for 80 and scored just two and conceded two.

Yesterday proved to me beyond doubt that we are the better team, this is why they are now resorting to underhand and devious tactics in the press with Slur's comments today about Kompany and Wio and Shrek's tweets to influence the powers that be with their propaganda machine.

They are scared shitless.

I wouldnt go as far to say they are in crisis, but I do think the days of them being contenders and majority winners in cups / league are coming to an end just as it did liverpool before them. They certainly ain't the team they were two or three years back and the lack of any major expenditure in the past couple of windows shows financially they are not anyway near us. When Taggart goes they will start to slip away a little more.
I haven't a fecking clue what I'm doing! Gillie come back man I want my sig back. As the Photobucket thingy gone?

Although the evidence doesn't really back up the feeling. I think most people ARE feeling that Scum are on the edge of a serious weakening.

If Fergie was to sudden have health problems, they would fall apart. It won't take much for their wheels to fall off. A season without winning anything, the loss of Fergie or a big name like Rooney.

They don't have the money to rebuild their team properly. The 80 million from Tranny solved that problem short term, but without success they can't spend big.

Most of their team now, wouldn't get in their teams from 4 or 5 years ago. They live off reputation far too much and teams just don't bother trying to fight them, they'd rather play 100% against a direct competitor, i.e Fulham, Wigan etc. I really hope the Blackburn and Newcastle results makes other teams sit up and take notice. They CAN be beaten, you don't have to fluke it either you can outplay them.

It will happen, soon and suddenly.

Haha honestly hadn't heard anything. I was off the radar over new years though and didn't get to see much news. Hopefully the stress of watching city dominate will send him into an early retirement.

The only top player they have is Rooney and based on his twatting (poss. misspelled), he comes over as a real thicko.
I think they will soon fall apart.

Most people say they always come good second half of the season but I cant see it happening this year they dont have the players to kick start a huge improvement. We have the squad thats capable of taking it up a gear secong half
