Im happy to let them wank over him.

He looked about as sharp as an orange, sideways passes making up his 97% pass rate too.

And also for this very valid reason...

Any of the older folk on here (cricket followers) remember when England brought back Colin Cowdrey to Face Lllie & Thompson in Australia & then brought back Brian Close to face Roberts, Holding etc v the West Indies ?

Remember how, on both occasions, it was seen as a team who were absolutely fucking doomed, desperatlely mismanaged & completely outclassed by the opposition, clutching at straws to try & avoid the inevitable series defeat which was headed their way ?

United have announced Paul McGrath has made up with the manager and will be considered for a return to the squad, along with Nobby Stiles.

I'm mostly wondering what signals bringing Scholes back will send to the younger scum players further down the pecking order. If I were Anderson, for instance, I would be fuming. And looking at both benches yesterday, makes it even more perplexing. United's was much more experienced than ours even without the ginger midget.
