Appeal didnt have a cat in hells chance given the way the FA operate.

Time for siege mentality and to start banging goals in at the otehr end.

Its shit like this that makes me wanna dust down the Wimbledon Crazy Gang Big Book of Nasty Tactics! Our players are under orders not to dive, not to surround the ref or be booked for decent. We don't have a team of hatchet men yet we must have one of the worst fouls against/fouls for ratio it must be laughable

conveniently can't find any stats about fouls on the interweb either

Nice sentiment but would be a nightmare for those that don't like/think the media are against us. If that happenend they would be hounding/slating us for years ... NO REALLY

I'm not one for conspiracy theories but this has left me baffled and genuinely disillusioned. I can not understand why Foy sent him off and it's even harder to accept that three people, supposed 'football men', watched that video and deemed it a red card.

It’s disgusting.

Hopefully Bobby will use this and have them fired up, full of siege mentality.

Who is the Ref's chief these days?

Hackett used to have a harder line on shit like this, often demoting refs for bad/inconsistent performances. By giving him another prem game, before the appeal, the bloke in charge of the refs has basically backed him to the hilt.

It was never going to happen and I surprised if anyone genuinely thought it would. Although Mancini publically has said it was a mistake and he thought we would win the appeal I doubt if he thought that privately.Certainly not based on the way they were set up in training today.

Before we were rich I always remember hating the rags for being complete cunts and proud of it. I hoped that when we finally came good, that we wouldn't be anything like them, we wouldn't dive or kick players off the park when they're causing us problems, we wouldn't abuse referees, we wouldn't have bent referees smoothing our path for us, we wouldn't have a shitbag manager fighting with the FA and media.

Everything we win, we win on the pitch. We do it the proper way even though it doesn't help us in the least bit. Every team we come up against has a fair shot (or better) because we never have the ref on our side. We can be proud of our team, if we were winning games with the support of cheating everytime it was a close match then it'd be dirty. Anything we win would be sullied and it would be hard to be proud to be blue.

But it's not, victory will be all the sweeter because of the way it will have been earned. We can remain impeccable. The thing is that many neutrals don't like us at the moment but they'll come around when they see what's happening. It's getting more and more obvious every day. The cheats have no answer to someone who continues to stand tall, they can't comprehend. There'll be a backlash, not about this incident, but it'll come eventually when someone goes too far and then things will have fixed themselves. We're not the only ones with a distaste for corruption.

Haven't really got a problem with a ref getting any decision wrong at the time. I'd rather see wrong decisions, even the ones against us, than end up at the match for 4 hours whilst everything goes to a video replay.

However, I do have an issue with any ref who makes a mistake and then refuses to put it right by admitting he was wrong. This is not just about Kompany, as there have been similar issues so far this season. They should make the ref watch some of their decisions again, ask if they thought they were correct at the time and if they say yes, sack them for incompetence.

I'll be watching this weekend's games with interest, as I'm expecting about 6 sendings off in every game if that's the level that a red card has been drawn at.

If the worse comes to the worse we can always re-register Paddy V near the end of the season and have him snap Rooney's leg.

He will never ever be welcome at our club I dont care what talent he has. He is fast becoming one of the most hated footballers in England.

Can Haaland still walk? Just bring him on for the last minute of the derby and tell him to do whatever he wants.

It was never going to get overturned. The fact is that these days, if you go in with two feet, regardless of the quality of the tackle, it will be red. Refereeing has changed (not for the better). The tackle that milijas made was no worse and he got a straight red and three game ban. Tackles that were deemed acceptable in the past are now bookings. Any challenge on the keeper is always a foul, whether it is a fifty fifty ball or not. That it was a perfectly timed challenge that made no contact with the other player sadly means cock all.

'A Silva Lining' and all that.

Now that this new rule has come into effect, in reality it should help our game. With our style of play there have been many a time that players have dived in on players like Silva, Yaya, Aguero et al and now that the panel have decided this form of the game is to be outlawed then when it happens all we have to do is site this non-incident.

Not much, but a City advantage nonetheless.
