I read once about a fooballer (...it might have been Bobby Moore) who HAD to spill a cup of tea at the breakfast table on match days.

If I go to the game and we win or draw, I don't wash my City top. When we lose (at home) then in goes in the wash in disgust. Never been an issue my whole life and usually meant I got no more than 2 wears out of the thing. Thankfully I was willing to wash it in the close season but I'm now looking at a shirt which might have to do the full season.

I only ever wear it over something, so it's not sweaty but it's going to start looking like I've slept in it soon.

So, do I wash it or put up with it till May? Obviously me washing my shirt has no impact whatsoever on our results. But if I wash it and we lose...

Anyone else got a routine which has been ruined by us suddenly being good?

you washed it... didn't you?

It's my fault, I wore the training top in my pic. Whenever I've worn it we haven't won. In fact I even lent it to Doug's daughter when she was here and we had our unlucky loss (or draw) to Blackburn.

Sorry.

i wasn't wearing any lucky underpants today either, and i had my choice of three pairs which are often the ticket to the points. Honest.

I was wearing underpants tho just in case you were curious.

Since everyone is coming clean with how they've personally fucked city lately I guess I'll join in.

We should still be 2pts up but we aren't because I decided to wear a Dunne "throwback" jersey from the 07-08 season for that match in honor of the 0-0 vs Red Scouse that year where he was awesome.

Obviously, this caused Lescott to channel Dunne and stick out a boot to put a shot that was no danger whatsoever into his own net.

I've felt guilty about this ever since and I apologize to everyone for the poor decision. That shirt is now going to be permanently retired, at least on game days.

Feel much better now that I've gotten that off my chest.

No, it's still I'm my drawer, festering. The good omen is that I can't make the Liverpool game due to work. So far, I've missed the Wigan and Stoke games, so should be an easy win.

Don't worry about it, there were plenty of Wankers on the pitch tonight, to more than cover your lack of a daily 5 knuckle shuffle.
