When the ref or the linesman gets something wrong our players should let them know as vocally as is within the rules and if that means shouting at the fuckers then so be it.
If our players had shouted at Foy the other day maybe we would have got one of them fuckers sent off instead of being classy and quite.

I agree...spot on.

I hate it when players moan and try and get other players booked/ sent off etc and that includes our players. Imo I agree with the calls for only the captain being allowed to speak to the referee and bookings for other players who do.

Then where's the limits?I hate seeing players crowd round the referee asking him to send someone off. I'd love one day to see a ref just pull out his cards and book all the player who ran over to him. Sure there'd be a lot of sending offs initially but players would soon get the message.

It doesn't bother me.What does bother me is taking some punisment without having the right to argue ones case.Being quite and submissive pisses me of more,if you have something to say then say it.

just been watching rafas rant again fair play to him everything he said was true, what i didnt realise was soon after in another press conference ferguson and allardyce both slagged him off for being disrespectful to allardce for a gesture he made after liverpool had sealed a win v blackburn. so what ferguson does through the media is wind managers up when hes under pressure and looking beaten
the keegan rant was another same outcome, the media ridicule keegan and benitez as often as possible, last night gerard interrupted mancini when being interviewed by a reporter same tactics, even the guy doing the interview said hang on a minute im conducting an interview.

Agreed. Wenger got broken by Demento which was the start of Arsenal's downfall and also the start of him beginning to praise/lay off Wenger in the build up/aftermath of their matches nowadays

I am in the middle if rereading one od Graham Poll's books and he makes the point that even though he would never change his mind once a decision had been made, On occasion, the reaction of the players told him that he had made a mistake.

I don't agree that City should crowdor chase the ref round the pitch as the rags havedone but certainly making a ref aware that he's fucked up should be well in order. I don't have a clue how many thousands of refereeing decisions are made during a season but most are quite simply accepted by players who get on with the game. It is not really that often that a group of players hit the roof and start to scream at the ref. When they do, they usually haveapoint.

A ref should be aware of that.

That's exactly how I feel. I really don't want us to go down that path, and I love the fact the Mancini and the players respect the refs. However, it is plainly obvious that you can influence the FA and referees by voicing your displeasure when decisions don't go your way.

For me this issue has fucked us more than any conspiracy or corruption that has happened this season. For me us not putting the ref in his place and being classy and dignified has allowed the ref's to take liberties with us because they know we ain't going to complain.Question the twats on any decision they make that has anything about it that has an element of doubt about it.
For me this is fucking up our season.

I've seen David Silva debating and berating the ref.

I've seen Mario argue and wave his arms at the ref.

I've seen James Milner non-stop after he's given something against him.

I seen the team surround the ref (OK, not quite Rag'esque) when Vinnie got sent off.

I seen the team give it the ref when Jones handballed in the area.

But what I didn't see was an almighty uproar when Johnson flew in against Lescott. It's not that we don't question the ref, we don't take it to far because we know that we ain't going to get anything from him, the last one just shows how we've give up on them.

We falsely believed that our free-flowing intricate passing high scoring games would somehow give us some sort of sway or advantage, however it's just helped them to make an increased effort into slowing and pulling back our play.

Just to add, I think we'll change our mentality soon, forcing the ref to take action. It may be Silva falling over at te slightest touch or Barry squaring up to the ref because he hasn't given us something. Bob will fight fire with fire and don't be surprised if you see a few Nani and Tranny type falling over soon.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".
