Tackling:the good the bad and the down right reckless.
Watching motd and am amazed at some of the tackles made today. Considering we lost kompany for four games it seems that there are players who don't know what is acceptable or not or don't give a fuck and referees who cannot work out any form of consistency when making decisions and issuing cards.
There were a couple of real leg breakers today(norwich and blackburn games)one was given yellow one was given nothing then there were good tackles that got yellows.surely its time to get the rules set out so the mistakes can be cut down?

Only conclusion:

Shrek influenced it. how many other tackles have a player like grannyshagger hounding the ref asking for a player to be sent off

I propose that officials are graded after each game and promoted/relegated like teams every year

If you stumble upon a video of Vinny's excellent tackle again, just watch Wellbeck & Nani. There is no reaction from either. Then Rooney appeals; straight away Wellbeck suddenly becomes animated & joins in also Nani. It's orchestrated; they realise they'd forgotten to appeal & Rooney's actions remind them of their duty.

I know a lad who was at the scum for a while, coincidentally it was actually when Wellbeck was in the junior teams. We asked the lad whether they were instructed to appeal for everything & he said yes.

It's becoming plain to all watching football that Foy got it wrong, then the panel upheld the wrong decision. As they say though, we move along, sweep it under the carpet and tell everyone that it'll equal itself out over the course of a season.

The question is though, like you say, why hasn't anybody else been sent off, was Foy individually instructed for our game only?

There was a tackle yesterday against west brom that they were awarded a pen for but was probably the worst I've seen all season.it was one footed but totally over the top of the ball and could very easily have broken a leg, result yellow card so there can be no more punishment for a clearly reckless challenge.
Consistency is all we ask for.

Foy was diabolical in the Stoke v Spurs game a few weeks ago.

This is true, but why then be given a big derby when you know players will try to put even more pressures on the ref?

Spot on with that one.It was Ayala and 100% a leg breaker but the ref bottled it with a yellow
