And now Boothroyd is only booked for a lunge which catches Santon's ankle. Who is the ref? Chris Fucking Foy that's who!!

I think he got the Derry one right but I couldn't see a lot of difference between Vinny's and what Bothroyd just got booked for.

Bothroyd , by the law of the game according to Christ Foy should have walked . Reckless , left his feet , studs up

How can landing on someone's ankle full tilt, nowhere near the ball, with your studs be less worthy of a red card than someone winning the ball perfectly cleanly & not touching the oppo player at all ? There is nothing in the rules about 'two feet' , it's about intent & control etc, not how many feet you use. Vinny got it perfectly right, Derrry may well have broken a bloke's foot.

Kompany's shouldn't have had a red, we all know that. Had it not happened nobody would have bothered about Johnsons tackle or Derrys. In my opinion he was right to book Derry.

Yes, but it is the exact same referee that sent Kompany off, so if he believed Kompany's was a red card then he should have sent Derry off.

Maybe ,even though the decision wasn't overturned,he was told his decision was a bit iffy so now he needs to be more 100% sure before issuing a red. I think there were others that could have been red yesterday but leniency seems to be the new standard.

Foy didn't think VK's was a red. He knew it wasn't a foul for that matter. He turned around to keep up with the play because he wasn't even going to blow.

ROONEY thought it was a red. Rooney isn't there to do his job for him today though so he won't be showing any reds.

It can't be allowed that a ref can interpret a decision like he did with Vinny, stand by his decision on appeal, then fail to red card incidents like today: it's not fucking fair. If he's decided he was wrong, then he should have fucking said so & not let Vinny serve a four game ban. He can't be Hitler on Tuesday & Ghandi on fucking Sunday.

And maybe it was just pre-ordained that a City player was to be sent off. Looking at what has happened prior to and after that red then you'd have to say that there is definately a chance that it was.

Anyway, the games alright and it looks like Hughes' teams when he was with us. How many chances have QPR had?

The last headlessly shite run by Leon Best has restored my faith in him. I was quite worried by his Bergkamp like goal but normal service is resumed.

" I think Chris has had a very good game today I must say ". Not surprising he's a fan really. Foy's done more for Utd's chances of winning a trophy than Rooney has.

Really boring poor game but I agree that the commentary was even worse.
