If I was RVP, I'd strangle Rosicky after the game. Van Persie beats 6 players with exquisite skill, then passes it to Rosicky who just hoofs it cross field to the other team.

I would have thought it would perfectly suit their strategy of selling their best players & replacing them with vastly overrated children from around the world.

True. I just wonder if the board would decide to spend some of the money they've syphoned off to get a decent squad. They look like they've also been playing on reputation this year and I wonder if Wenger can control anyone other than young lads?

Fucking hell, how bad are Tyler and Smith, willing the ball into the Swansea net with their inane 'Always a lete goal' bullshit. What I've seen is Swansea show Arsenal how to play football but I've not heard too much praise for them from this pair of tools.

Love how Swansea like to pass it around in their own 1/3 to draw the other team in. It like fighting Ali, always ducking and retreating, then springing forward once you've sucked them in. Sure it backfires every once in awhile, but it's great to watch

Excellent win for the Swan's and it's good to see Rodgers playing football rather than parking the bus. They should stay up if they continue in this vein and it'll be well deserved.

Arsenal, who gives a fuck!

That should fire the gooners up a bit more for next week.

Wenger has shot his bolt.

The unfortunate thing about all this is that before too long, someone like Villa or Spurs will come along and poach Rogers, then Gordon Strachan or Steve Bruce will take over at Swansea & they'll plummet back into obscurity.

I do hope so, a win for them would go down nicely. Not a bad weekend of football considering we've not played, just got to do the biz tomorrow to give us that little bit of breathing room going into the Spuds game. Saying that, if we can beat Wigan the weekend games could see us 6 ahead.

Always the optimist me ;-)

that was a fun match for a neutral...great work by Swans. they had a few periods of keep ball in the last 10 mins which i was really enamored of. Up for the fight. Ball on the carpet. Nice win. Couldn't ask for more if yr a Swans fan.

cheers

What I want to know is: how come Brendan Rogers can get a bunch of journeymen playing football like Arsenal but Arsene Wenger can't get a bunch of Arsenal players playing football like Arsenal ?

Scott Sinclair looks very bright indeed. I'll predict this time next year he'll be at either Arsenal, liverpool or Chelsea.

How much did Chelsea sell him to Swansea for?

Can't remember, think it was only a couple of million, maybe less even but he's been on fire for them. We could do with someone like him on the wing. He's rapid and good on the ball.
