Indeed. The handball event was just sickening. Decisions dont go our way atm eh? Should've been a red.

He's not done his discredited profession any favours. He did well for most of the game but couldn't seem to resist doing something ridiculous.

Let's not blame the ref, we need to bury this chip with have on our shoulder, Mancini included. We should have one comfortably and we didn't, to blame the ref for something that happened in the 88th minute (Same against Liverpool) seems fucking desperate.

We're better than that.

unfortunately, at the moment, we are actually NOT better than that, which is the problem of course.

Unbelievable what he did with Figueroa at the end of the game! Atkinson out forever from all the grounds of the world, only a stupid could give a yellow card instead than a red to the Latics player!
From Torino, Italia to Manchester, Lancashire this City is always our City!

Are you suggesting we're masking our poor form by trying to blame everyone else apart from the man in the mirror?

Yes agree, what I don't get it the commentators suggested he couldn't give a red as it was in the halfway line so not a clear scoring opportunity - BUT as I see it figueroa was last man and Aguero is clear, so how can that not be a clear scoring opportunity?

Because obviously Aguero had to run 40 yards without tripping on his shoelaces and falling on his face.

Disgraceful decision

Having said that, on current form he'd probably have veered off towards the corner flag and eventually had a shot from there.

The BBC bloke.

2146: Incredible! This is like something out of a school game. Maynor Figueroa is the last man for Wigan, he misjudges a long ball forward and just bats the ball away with his hand. Sergio Aguero would have been in on goal - granted he was on the halfway line, but still. He is only booked. I've not seen anything like that since my days playing at left-back for an under-13s side.

2148: Roberto Mancini was back waving an imaginary card at the officials there. Noone likes to see that, but he has a point. Maynor Figueroa has to walk for that, surely? That's the most blatant handball I've seen in a long, long while.

2207: The handball debate is set to roll on then. I take the point that he would have had 50 yards to run. but for me Sergio Aguero in on goal constitutes a goalscoring chance. Nobody would have caught him. Apparently Richard Gough committed an even more blatant one for Scotland in the early 1990s. I'll have to research that.
