Booked for absolutely nothing, a clash with Parker that I thought was nothing and then after contributing nothing positive since he came on he gets a pen and scores from it.

Balo is an enigma. You can't watch his stamp on Parker again without saying he deliberately gave him an extra sumpin sumpin, can you? i mean, let's not be completely oblivious. Same for Lescott's forearm smash.

And like i said earlier in the match thread -- i don't care HOW dirty we were against Spurs as long as we fucking win. And win we did. ;)

That kind of elbow-smashing, stamping performance against a side that inspires less venom from me (read: pretty much everyone else except Spurs, Rags and Scouse 1 and 2) and i'd be embarrassed. Does that seem unsupportive of the team? i hope not. It's just how i feel.

I reckon there will be an investigation into the 2 incidents although I cannot see them doing Ballo as he is looking up and not down at the floor.
Lescotts was pretty blatant...we wont have heard the last of this I reckon.

I can see Spurs confidence taking a huge knock after that. And I really hope so. Redknapp is Tosser of the Year.

Fuckin A.

The double over Spuds, oh how the media will cry in the morning.

"Spurs robbed"
"Evil wins against good"
"Scott Parker for England"
"DeFoe is better than Aguero"

Goes some tiny way to show them how we felt when they took the Champs League spot 3 years ago.

Shocked to see the rally from journos on twitter to get Balo and Lescott 3 match bans.

Frankly think it is disgusting.

This.

Very happy with the win, especially the morale-deflating, last-minute manner of it. Lovely. Couldn't happen against a better set of twats as well.

did i miss it or did Balo not get a card for his foul on Parker which means they cannot go back and look at it, but the Lescott one is wide open.

I'd expect us to be fielding Micah and Savic at CB vs Scouse...we'll go there having to play 3-5-2 i think.
