We would have pissed that with Vinny, not to mention Yaya.

The headlines will be made for different reasons sadly

Silva's pass for Nasri's goal was like sliding a well lubed cock up a tight fanny. Split in half.

Great win. Well done lads.

People are unfair to Savic. He's not ready for big games like that. It's not his fault Kompany's banned and Kolo's playing in an international tournament. He did well in the first half and then his nerves got the better of him. He'd be better playing with Vinnie who's more of a leader than Lescott. Blame Mancini if you want but I think he didn't want to lose Micah's pace and power down the flank.

I'm sure the referee saw Balotelli but I'll bet he bottles it with all the hue and cry and says he didn't so I'm expecting a three match ban. I doubt anything will happen to Lescott and Vinnie's back for Everton, thank god.

And Nasri's finish was like a big warm creampie delivered into a well-kegel'd vag.

it takes both to really create that kind of climax.

that is a pretty positive point about today. We're not at full-strength, yet we beat Spurs.

The same against Scouse wednesday and we'll have done a lot of good work in their absence(s).

I hear you Dazza. Another scrappy win but that's how championships are won (or so a lot of us belive ?).
It was agreat 2 last minutes and I was shouting at the screen to keep the ball and not do anything fancy. After the Defoe miss a draw looked like a big achievement. And then a moment of magic from Balo, a penalty, a goal, 3 points secured. Who could ask for more drama !!
Remains to be seen if we will be without Balo and Lescott for a while. Good thing is that Komp is 1 match away from coming back and I think it's quite clear now that Micah should fill in at CB no matter what happens.

GET THE FUCK IN!
Just back from a pub in Berlin. Total emotional roller-coaster.
And Howard Webb actually got a decision right in the end. I was screaming at the big screen that he should've blown the whistle for King pulling Aguero's(?) arm, but he let the play continue, which lead to the penalty (also correctly given).

It looks bad for Mario, especially with Fergies Sky lapdogs, and Coleman, having set the FA up to do their bidding, again, but I still maintain that its possible, just possible, that Mario was just attempting to regain his balance.

In fairness, though, Graeme Souness was more forensic, and honest, in his view of it, than any of Regie's lap-dogs will ever be

Me too, that home game for 4th spot they won a couple of seasons back was the most depressing game I ever been to. This is just so sweet.

Strange to witness that today.

We weren't passing the ball like we can imo but were still miles better than Spurs. Then we went though like a dose of salts & were taking them to the cleaners only to hand the initiative back with a stupid goal then see a brilliant/one off equaliser.

Mario tries to get sent off, DeFoe misses a potential winner after we hand the ball to them again; everything was full of the ingredients of typical City, then we won, with a pen from a bloke who shouldn't be on the pitch, & it was typical rags (apart from it WAS actualy a pen). Incredible.

Can't ever remember seeing that at City before. For once, our toast didn't land jammy side down.

Spurs were fuck all imo incidentally. If not for that fuck up, it would have been four or five again; they had cracked completely & were lucky to get back in the game. We were starting to buzz just as Lil dropped that bollock.

Onwards and upwards (probably minus Mario). Up yours Harry. Don't bend over in the shower. Cunt.

How many saves did Joe make today? OK I know that is the only factor that determines how a defence plays or how the opposition attack played but it has to count for something.

Overall I thought City defended quite well. 2 shocking mistakes gifted them their best 2 chances and apart from that it was a special strike that they scored from.Clichy and Micah did pretty well stopping them getting behind us too often and Barry with Milner worked their socks off to give protection to the back 4.Poor old Savic played well till that mistake but it is a bit worrying how shaky he can become under pressure and it seems it's just the long balls which he deals worst with.

Wigan the same.Althpough we werent at our best they hardly had attempts on goal and the one key one that happened Joe saved brilliantly. So all in all we are looking okish in defence even with Vinnie and Kolo away so with them back it feels really positive. All we need is for the attack to click properly aagin in the next 6 weeks and all will hopefully be rosy.
