Mario witch hunt on the cards?

He meant to stamp down at Parker, didn't necessarily mean to do it at his head but the intent was still there. Can't really complain if he gets a ban for it although if he doesn't it might even out the ridiculous decisions we have been on the end of in recent weeks.

At 2-2 if someone has offered me the three points with Balotelli scoring the winner but he won't play in the next 4 games I probably would have taken it.

I'm sure the FA will ban him, afterall they banned Shrek for a similar incident last year. What's that, they didn't? Oh...

Disgusting, filthy trash. Shit journalism. They basically see which way the wind is blowing and thoughtlessly follow along

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/blog ... -balotelli

Howard Webb, that generally excellent referee, gave a free-kick but took no further action. But if the backheel was clearly visible from the press box then it should have been spotted by one of his assistants, and the result would have been a straight red card. This may have been Webb's most controversial decision since he allowed Nigel de Jong to stay on the pitch after planting his studs in Xabi Alonso's chest during the World Cup final in Johannesburg 18 months ago.

Whilst the media are loving this imo Mario has only himself to blame he does Parker and he knew he was 4 game ban may make him reflect and grow up.

Anyone notice Modric's little stamp just as Balotelli falls over?

Unfortunately Balotelli has got caught up in an incident with the Sportswriters Player of the Year, England International, and ex-West Ham player. Scotty Parker to the media is an untouchable.

I couldn't give a fuck if he meant to do it to be honest.

Yes he might get banned for 3 games but fact is....Dzeko needs games and currently Sergio looks capable of running through walls for us.

Mario got us 3 points today. If I were him in the face of the cuntish stitch-up refereeing and twattish opposition behaviour we have been fucked over with recently...I would've wanted to do the same

I'm glad he did it

I hope he hurt that golden cunt Parker

and fuck you Harry you bent shitbag

Tant fucking pis as they would say in France

For fucks sake Ant we cannot condone acts of petulance just because someone needs playing time and because you dont like someone.

Yes we can

I couldn't give a fuck and I am 1000000% behind Mario......I've slated him of late for being a cunt. Tonight he was a bit of a twat but I would've done exactly the same in his position. That makes me a flawed individual but, in Mario's position, my only failure would've been that Parker played on.

Wrong but true

For the record I don't think it was intentional, 360 and never looked at the player. Hell probably be banned for it though.

Alright....why precisely am I "chatting shit"

I've given you my view, caveated with the fact that I know it is not going to be widely shared, and that "my view" likely makes me very much in the minority and likely to make me viewed as "a bad person" in the eyes of others.

So, no, I'm not "chatting shit"....your comment is totally without any useful purpose though.

be careful...you'll get accused of not being a great City fan if you keep up this logical talk about what anyone can see with their own two eyes.

as i said earlier, it's even more obvious than what Ade did to RVP a couple seasons back, unfortunately. i'm hoping we get over on this one...but im not optimistic.

HOWEVER, since the ref has given a free kick does it mean he cannot say he didnt see the incident? i'm sure he can say he didn't see "that" and we can still get punitive action.

I just think your chatting bollocks.

If I thought he meant it I would not condone it. The fact that you don't like other players cheating etc but think its acceptable for balo makes me think your chatting shit.

I sort of understand what you're saying but I can't ignore the fact that had Webb's head been turned a few more degrees, Mario would have been off and we'd be at least two points worse off.

Condone it if you want, I can't. It was daft and he/we were very very lucky.

He needs to grow up. No provocation, no previous between the two, no niggle, no excuse. Pure stupidity.

I think the panel will be irrelevant. Webb will say one of 2 things:
1) I saw it and I didnt think it warranted action ie no further action
2) I didn't see it.In which case a ban will ensue because nobody will have the bottle to decide it's not clear cut.

Is there a 3rd option where Webb says he didnt see it but feels it isnt conclusive anyway therefore wouldnt want anything doing.

Anyone who thinks he did not mean that needs to take the blue specs of.

He he gets done, he deserves it and we are without one of our best players over a pointless incident.
