Feeling quite confident about this. Liverpool's defence was awful yestarday.

Would be fantastic to turn this around, a real double whammy.

dont think you can underestimate a last minute winner, confidence will be at a high, they have lost to bolton, fully expect us to get through this with ease, in front of the MIGHTY KOP aswell

Their last game means fuck all. Yes they were shit, but they'll raise their game as always. They were shit in the 1st leg & still won.

We have to turn up for this. If we do, we'll batter them.

Our worst enemy....overconfidence.
This weekends results are meaningless in relation to whatmay happen on Wednesday. Liverpool will not be the sad sham of a team they were against Bolton. They are 1-0 up and 90mins away from Wembley.
City are better than the Scousers by some margin, but we are only better than them when we play to the best of our ability.

Seeing that we haven't got a game at weekend I'd like to see us go to extra-time, extra penalty kicks with Joe scoring the eleventh to win the game.

Nicky Weaver'ish, and a final to boot.

For John 68s sake I want to see City go 4 up in 15 minutes, keep a clean sheet...

Thanks Bobby...someone cares...Relegation battles were almost stress free compared to this Mate. I learned to cope with them.

Yeah I had an Arsenal fan in the pub, after being abused for 90 minutes, if we were going to bottle it as fans! (His argument was sort of validated cos a rag grabbed my neil young scarf and i punched him) but at the end of the day our existence isn't in jeopardy we're enjoying it! 10 years ago we won the first division FFS!

Nothing's changed, gotta go there and score. If we score first you gotta fancy we'll murder them. Can't start slow like the first leg.

Bobby,
I now refuse to watch games in pubs. I get far too wound up and become a danger to myself. For some reason, as I matured, my City persona remained firmly fixed in my Kippax teenage years.....I really do get quite angry on occasion when rags get in my cab. Been known to chuck more than a few out for no other reason than they were rags being rags.

A rag even looking at my City scarf would amount to me giving him shite. You are quitei order punching him/them.
Well in.

I got shit off the landlord, a few weeks ago I some cunt pissed on my cap in the same pub, i gave the landlord the benefit of the doubt, and just one of those things! its still a sore subject! the rag cunt started but i got grief for it despite this twat bullying the sole arsenal fan in the pub for 90 minutes and being the definition of a rag cunt!

I've always accepted the being a blue you gotta be on your best behavior in pubs cos you only get grief but shit like that says to me 'fuck it'. it was the landlord who was supposed to be looking after my scarf anyway!

Quite agree Bobby. Many years ago, me and 4 mayes were attacked on a bus by a gang of over 20 thugs. We got chucked off for causing trouble. The bus guard was like your landlord...a bottleless bastard.

Watching a derby in a friendly pub where I was well known, the landlady used to serve dinners as the final whistle went. City won and I took the knives and forks off the rags trying to eat, on the grounds of their health and safety. Waiteda while laughung like fuck at em, then gave out plastic cutlery.
The landlady saw the funny side...she was a Villa fan.

just for clarification,

if we win the match tomorrow 2-1 after 90 mins it will go to extra time because the aggregate would be 2-2, yes?
Same if we win 1-0 cuz it'd be 1-1 on aggregate.
But if the match tomorrow ends tied after 90 then we lose, right?

Eh?!!!

If the match ends all square then yes we will be beaten on aggregate score but if we win 2-1 3-2 4-3 etc then we will go through after extra time as we would have scored more away goals and penalties wouldn't be required......................or am I avin one of my senile moments?
