He has since deleted the tweet, maybe due to the horrendous grammar.

Maybe he wrote it and then checked our attendances in League 2?

Exactly. He is probably too young to remember/not born.

Average attendances for the last 10 seasons then. Just because.

01/02
Spurs - 35,000
City - 33,000 <<Div1

02/03
Spurs - 35,000
City - 34,000

03/04
Spurs - 34,000
City - 46,000

04/05
Spurs - 35,000
City - 45,000

05/06
Spurs - 36,000
City - 42,000

06/07
Spurs - 35,000
City - 39,000

07/08
Spurs - 35,000
City - 42.000

08/09
Spurs - 35,000
City - 42,000

09/10
Spurs - 35,000
City - 45,000

10/11
Spurs - 35,000
City - 45,000

To be fair to spurs they have had a very consistent fan base. But the only 2 seasons that they have outsold us were at Maine road when A) they had a higher capacity and B) we were in division 1 and then our first season back in the prem after the worst 6 years in our history. We had an average gate of 28,000 in division 2 FFS. It baffles me as to where this shit fans myth suddenly popped up from.

So to you walker I say, your just a shit Micah Richards.

Isn't he about 21? That would make him eight or nine when we were in the third division, which would equate to me as a young adult banging on about Aston Villa when they were in the second division in the early 'seventies after they had just become European Champions a decade later. Classless. The thing is, I wouldn't have because it would be irrelevant to someone of my age. For a boy from Sheffield who plays for Spurs he has more than a hint of Rag about him. Typical of many a clown of his vapid generation, though, with a selective interest in "history".

Saw this earlier. I was a little surprised as I don't recall many gates below 40,000 at The Etihad. Must be true though

That was thanks to the Stuart Pearce and Steve "me granny was from Ashton you know" Wigley, management duo.

Wigley is the man who recommended Matt Mills from the Southampton academy but forgot to mention Walcott or Bale. Clot.

Imho, Walker is a smaller cunt that VDV. I am looking right now at the game and he was almost every moment complaining about something, shouting at Webb to give us cards, give them free kicks and going beserk when they scored. When Monkey face went in front of their fans, VDV looked like he had a seizure.
Cunt.

When the chimp scores and does that fucking STUPID heart shape to the fans, I really want to just jump through the telly and knock the cunt out.

What is that shitty celebration all about??

I think he's trying to say, "Me heart you!"

I think he is making a sign for a ringpiece, asking whether he is allowed to shit in his hands and chuck it at people.

His goal was a very good goal, I agree, but he was only a danger to our goal twice in 98 minutes. When I say he is over-rated it doesn't mean I think he is shit but Pele he is not so let's not go mad here, eh.

Be that as it may, I was just getting going on a mini-rant then until you brought reason and common sense into it, you fiend.

He is a good player no doubt, but imho i think he will fuck things up at City. He isn't a great team player, if you look closer, most of the balls played by Modric are for him and in 50 % of time he will shoot. 1 from 10 executions will be great goals. I was watching him close last year, when we were head to head and in games like Wba home, or Blackpool home, Spuds didn't win because he decided to try a curly ball instead of a simple pass to Crouch or other team mate that was up front.
But yes, he is a good player, but Silva and last years Nasri are better.
