Good try from the apologists - sorry guys - just not convinced.

If you wish to believe that the Sky editor(s) when preparing the 2011/12 programme are 'just oh so democratic' to consider:

1/ the number of years that the PL has been in existence
2/ appropriate %age to be applied to clips shown against number of clubs etc
3/ a moral compass that seeks to be fair to all clubs etc

Well good for you - you must have a really nice world to live in

Me? - I just think that they are so far up the scum arse that they are able to grrom baconface's nose hair

Chris Foy has just yellow carded a player for a foul much worse than Vinny's and the player has been stretchered off. If it had been rags or Liverpool with Rooney at his throat it would have been a red card. Wilkins is saying thee's nothing wrong with the challenge. If it had been on Rooney or Lampard he would be condemning it. This biased shit in reffing & media has been going on for fucking years. Don't tell me it doesn't happen as I've fucking seen it, lots of times. It's happening right now & it's fucking obvious. It's not a conspiracy, it's bias. There is a big difference.

In all honesty, and you all know my opinion is that United will always get the majority of the decisions and that the league/Sky sets it up that way, they are the most valuable asset they've got. But things will change. Sky/the PL know that City are going to be a force for many years to come and understand that if they do not start to market a club that are going to be taking trophies and possibly dominate domestically, possibly world wide, then they are going to lose customers.

Note our continual live television coverage, how many games have been aired on Sky this year? They are building up our brand world wide, this is no coincidence, and they will continue to do so knowing that it is most probably the start to a new era in football. The Manchester rivalry is a real bonus and the longer they can market that part of it, the better. It's like passing over the baton.

The problem for the PL/Sky is that we have done things so quickly that they haven't the time to play it out, they're having to be dynamic and adapt to our circumstances in order to keep the league competitive. Just look at the league this year. Before Xmas we were hearing that United were actually 8 points better off than at the any previous period yet we were still 2 points ahead. Why was that, why all of a sudden are they so far in front of their previous tally's? The answer is because we were running away with it, Taggart had to catch up and the game changed accordingly. No doubt in my mind that this was aided by outside influences.

You may read this and say I am the real 'Tin Foil Loon' but it's my opinion and I stick by it. If you don't believe me just check-out the difference in viewing figures between us and United and understand who is paying the PL, then understand who is paying Sky. We'll get there though, it's just going to be a grizz until they've sorted the format to suit.

Thank fuck that someone else has understood that this has nothing to do with bias against City but is purely money based. Big audiences mean increased revenue for Sky through advertising etc.
The same applied in the 60 when we were becoming League Champs. Our title winning game was not on MOTD, the BBCchose to go wth the rags....It meant bigger audeiencesand thatis what they all want.

This shit goes on in every sport and is more identifiable in Rugby League.

Finally got around to watching the Senna film & there's some huge analogies there - the level of politics, the application of decisions / rules which are inconsistent is unbelievable, but if it happened in that sport then it hell as like goes on in football.

Substitute Prost for Man U, Senna for City...think I'm getting carried away with the analogy now...

Im just glad we got the rub of the green during the game.

We could easily have been down to nine men and lost the game had we not had some well deserved luck.

In terms of the press coverage. You may have a point. However, a lot of this is down to the image that Mario has built for himself. He's heaven for the press....keeps giving them content for the wrong reasons.

You could just as easily say that Parker (slide challenge on Micah) and Kaboul (penalty/scissor challenge) could've been sent off also.

The problem is, nobody actually likes us anymore. It's as simple as that.

You could, yes. I don't think Parker's was a red, yellow yes. The tackle for the penalty could have been a red card but it had no baring on the result, game was over.

Fact is, we got the rub of the green on Sunday and we were due it. If you can't see that then we'll obviously not agree on this.

I don't think Mario can have too many complaints. I'm pretty sure he meant to do it even if I give him the benefit of the doubt.

I'd still appeal it on the grounds that the replays are utterly inconclusive and his "intent" cannot be possibly proven. I'd like us to make a stand against the fucking FA and this is as good a time as any to do it.

Of the two incidents...Lescott's is the one that is clearly a red card. The fact that nothing is happening to him is a joke and I'd like us to tell the FA what we think of their hypocritical, inconsistent bullshit

There is no way you can watch the video and say for sure that mario intended to stamp on Parker. Not 100%. Mario has been banned because the ref has buckled under media (definite agenda) and other managers (how could another manager NOT have an agenda?) pressure.

Just to put this into context for anyone that watched the copa del ray game, barca v real. Pepe has just been told there will be no action taken against him for stamping on messi's hand. Now this was an actual stamp on the hand, not an attempted stamp. The ref didn't see it at the time. The video has been watched and no action taken even though in this case there can be no doubt about the intention as he is walking past messi, looks down at him and stands on his hand. But Pepe plays for real not city so no ban.

I know some people even on here think mario should have been sent off. But there is no way an independent, impartial viewer can watch the replay and be absolutely convinced that mario intended it. Too many factors can lead to doubt. If there's doubt then there isn't a ban. Balo was in mid air, both feet off he ground, looking away and modric pushes balo in the back on his way down knocking him further off balance.

Then again this is the same fa that ignored shreks elbow and appealed when he ran up behind a player and fucking kicked him. Media make me sick. Shit house FA make me sick.

No, I do see it but in the context of the game, taking everything into consideration, it makes no difference. We beat the Spuds, in the last minute, with a penalty by a player who possibly shouldn't have been there. Bliss.

Has anyone noticed that after every game we play, and stay top, that we never actually hear about the game but only hear about the incidents. This deflection of the truth that we are beating these teams regularly only goes to prove that they have ulterior motives.

It's as if they are trying to stop our enjoyment of winning games and being top, as if they won't alllow us to have out time. But, you know what, beating the Yids like that was glorious and no-one, but no-one is going to take that immense feeling of sheer elation away from me, no matter how they complain.
