what a load of shite - if that's a "gouge" then some of you need to watch a bit of rugby. sulk like bitches by all means but don't compare that to mario's stamp (which in a court of law wouldn't have gone to courts either. imo.)

You're not supposed to raise your hand to the face of an opponent, let alone try to gauge his eye. The fact that it was a shit gauge has nothing to do with it. On that basis, Mario's stamp was shit because he didn't connect.

No matter how much the doubters (the few that are left) try to tell us this shit evens us out, the FA manage to amaze us more each week, with hypocrisy and inconsistancy.

It is completely disgraceful and from what I've seen this season, it is most definitely dangerous enough for the league to be taken from us. So paint up the "oooh it balances itself out shit all you like", but this is real and it is happening right now.

To me it was premeditated, Marios so called stamp would have been heat of the moment, Crouch new exactly what he was going to do, hand to face red card 3 match ban SIMPLE

It balances out about as much as penalties are given at OT.

Oh and injury time is always fair so there's no running joke naming it after a manager.

Oh and we train with WWE cos every second word I hear on commentary is "forearm smash"

What a crock of shit. The FA are bent fucking cunts.

While yr giving big words like "definitely" and "hypocrisy" a rinse, try and throw in a scoop of "GOUGE" and "INCONSISTENCY" as a side dish to really make a whole mouthful of big, growns-up words.

SLIM -- please come back. I beg of you.

cheers

It wasn't a gouge, just like Vince's wasn't a 'foul'. It's all part of it, but he tried.

I used to concentrate a lot on my spelling, but between using the phone app in hurried situations and not giving a fuck what bald headed nerds think of my spelling, I've kind of eased off.

Thanks.

Based on the evidence of what has happened in football over the last couple of months at the hands of the FA, I'd have to say yes, he is.

Arjan,
I keep harping on about this Mate...but Crouch doesn't even have to make contact. The mere intention to do what he did is good enough to hang him (only if he wore a blue shirt apparently).
To target such a vulnerable area of the body as Crouch did is more than sufficient to punish him.
Remember that Kompany made no contact whatsoever with Evra in the derby.

Exactly. I genuinely thought he'd sort the FA out but it's got worse and worse. If we win any cup or the league in the near future I'd not bother with the obligatory handshake with FA representatives. They'd probably have spat on their own hand before it.
