Savic is fookin whack but we havent really got anyone else.

Could he not have played Onuoha? Mancini has dropped a massive bollock by continuing to play Savic. He must be able to see that the boy is clearly not ready for first team action (and might never be) and his performances continue to get worse with every game and after his balls up against Defoe on Sunday there is no way he should have played today. It is almost as if Mancini is trying to prove a point with Savic and is determined to keep picking him until he has a good game. It is also extremely unfair on Savic as it is doing his confidence no good whatsoever - he looks like a rabbit caiught in the headlights tonight and clearly doesn't want to be on the pitch

EDIT - Mancini has done the sensible thing and replaced Savic with Kun

Good riddance, Savic.

This is a test of Mancini. He must surely be more tactically adept than an old man who has been out of the game for 10 years!

Lets look at the Dippers...two pens in the cup games, no goals from open play, no goals against 10 men for around 45 minutes over two league games.

We CAN get a goal...I'd be more concerned being a Liverpool fan as to where another goal comes from to cement their place in the final

Good point.

Thats Savic's City career over then, nothing says "I have faith in you young man" like dropping him half way through a semi final.

Onouha would still have been able to do a good job in the middle.

I agree with your sentiment but he had to come off. He was a liability.

Goal aside we weren't doing much up front so I think he had to change it. Kun will test them with his movement and should help with our passing game.

Kolo would have been a wonderful player to have available compared to the useless Savic. I'm almost looking forward to Kolo coming back as much as I am Yaya.
