Day 6 cont.
Mandaric "In 35 years in football I never had a closer relationship with any manager than I did with Harry"
Mandaric "We went on holiday together, our wives are friends. Sometime we would play with his dogs in his back yard"
Mandaric says Redknapp was a "special guy, a special manager and for me a special friend - a special person"
Mandaric "The players loved him, adored him. He can get out of them more than anyone else whether they are 35 years old or 18"
Mandaric said when Redknapp went to Spurs he sent Daniel Levy an email saying "You got the best manager in the world. Good luck to you"

THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

£4.2m a fucking year......THEN he went to Southampton
Both those clubs need their fucking bumps feeling, and no wonder they both ended up in the shit.

Possibly the wrong thread for this, don't shoot me. But Richard Cheese And 'Keysey' Gray on Talkshite, just nearly said something negative about Spurs and then NEARLY NEARLY went on to discuss the trial.
Flicking through the papers, stooge 1 noticed a story about a training ground bust up at Tottenham. This was skilfully avoided when stooge 2 thought someone had nicked his coffee. No one had. How we all laughed! How we all didn't get to hear a negative Spurs story publicised on air!
Then some micro-comment was uttered, about 'there being a piece all about the trial'.
"We'll leave that there", says Cheese.
UNBELIEVABLE! Yeah, the country won't want to hear about a hugely high profile football manager trying to con millions out of the state, cos he's your pal!

If he's found guilty, these people will have no choice but to discuss it. The squirming attempts to justify his actions will be interesting.

they will pretend it didnt happen ,george graham a regular contributor to the show, and when the interview is over why will no one take a chance on the guy in the prem.but if hes acquitted it will be a full day of harrys reputation as been ruined
and surely there was no reason for it to have gone to court, wonder if he will claim compen for false arrest said presenter?

It's baffling and amazing how they get to shoehorn in their own agendas, whilst conveniently dismissing real, big stories that 'the public' would certainly be interested in.

Please see opening post on nature of info etc etc, blah blah blah
DAY 7
Mandaric is still being questioned by his own defence team. Cross examination will begin later
Milan Mandaric began evidence today by clarifying point made yesterday. Redknapp's contract was worth £4.2 million over 3 years not 1 year
Mandaric told Court again that Rosie47 money was his + when Redknapp returned to Pompey in 2005 he reminded R he needed to pay it back
Mandaric says he has no yacht or private jet. "I lead normal life". He says he's put £20 million into Sheffield Wednesday so far
Mandaric told jury that when he sold Portsmouth he paid £100,000 into offshore account for Peter Storrie as thank you for finding buyer

DAY 7 cont.
Mandaric says charges "sad, unfair, insult to me, my family, my friends, + even some of supporters who know what kind of man chairman is"
Mandaric "When Harry gets something in his head he doesn't let go sometimes. It drives you crazy"
Mandaric says didn't want Redknapp to sign Crouch as he was "big, tall guy. Didn't look like a footballer". Told R that he would be useless
Cross examination of Mandaric by the Prosecution has now begun in the last hour, nothing to report as yet (usual revising of facts/claims) ...

DAY 7 cont.
Mandaric was asked if he was surprised when Redknapp told him he'd named account Rosie47 - "No, it was a cute name. I'd met Rosie"
Mandaric says £100,000 Monaco money wasn't Redknapp bonus. "Why go through all this trouble, all these things? It doesn't make sense"
Trial has adjourned until 2pm for lunch. Time for Redknapp to get up to speed with transfer deadline day movements ;)

From Day 6:
Mandaric denies paying Monaco money as bonus for Redknapp and says tax is "part of my life, my business life. We pay taxes"
Mandaric says it wasn't Redknapp's money in Rosie47. "It was my money". Mandaric says Redknapp only entitled to profit on it
From day 2:
Mr Beasley spoke to Redknapp days after a telephone interview with Mandaric, the former Portsmouth FC chairman.
When Mr Beasley described how Mandaric said the money sent to Redknapp's offshore accounts were investments outside football, the Tottenham Hotspur manager replied: "He don't know what he is f****** talking about. What is he talking about? It is a bonus."
Explaining that the payments surrounded profit made on the sale of Peter Crouch from Portsmouth to Aston Villa, Redknapp added: "If it was something dodgy I would have gone over there and brought it back in a briefcase."
Perhaps I'm being thick but these two versions seem to be completely at odds with one another to me.
