My thoughts exactly, but too scared to say it!!!!!

He would take 6 weeks to get fit, and another two or three to get in tune with everyone. That would be the start of April. Is it worth it?

Harry Bunn hasn't gone back to Preston, so I'd rather give him a chance than see that kettlenecked Argentinian twat play any further part in this season or any other.

In addition, he's still appealing the fines, from a situation that he created. NO NO NO NO NO!...(Oh Mama Mia, Mama Mia)

He may be soft, slow and have a poor first touch except inside the box but he has strengths...unfortunately his biggest weakness is his decision making - he almost always refuses to pass the ball. He will either try an outrageous shot, attempt to embarrass the defender with a dribble or try to win a foul and that is what lead to the goal.

Maybe I'm just guilty of always trying to look for positives - I think my posting history will make that obvious, and I'm not going to concede that there aren't any in Dzeko's case, but I'm also not going to deny that he was awful after 15 minutes tonight.

Dzeko is what he is. He's a useful player to have around but he's not the spearhead of a team & neither is Balotelli. They are both icing on the cake players who do their thing around the edges. Neither will ever be part of the spine of any team. They arte the blokes who sneak in & take advantage whilst teams are worrying about others.

Aguero will grow into that main role & Tevez was that kind of player, as was/is Bellamy.

Now both of those have gone, we need another on field character like that & tbf, Guidetti is exactly that sort of bloke but it's whether he's good enough.

If we had a Rooney type character in our armoury of strikers we would have won easily tonight. We have to sort it for next season.

No, but he's not the bloke to lead City up front over the next 5 years. Decent 3rd or 4th option but he doesn't have the personality or the power for the job we ask him to do. a journeyman like Zamora or even Kevin Davies would have beasted both their Cb's tonight & left Aguero with nobody marking him.

You might be right..you might not..you're speculating Ruxpin

All I'm saying is his stats are not speculation..they are fact

An almost 1 in 2 record..not bad for a player who is supposed to be as shit as some would like to think

I'm a bit meh about him to be honest..he blows hot and cold

But he's no fucking Andy Carroll..or try paying 50 mil for a blank firing Torres?

It's that spoilt syndrome again..

Why is this nonsense? He didnt hold the ball up or lay it off to anyone tonight..All his height and we didn't even see a flick on to one of our players..A good striker should cause abit of mayhem and draw defenders to him to create gaps for other to run into...He had a bad night all round.

It's not about being spoilt, it's about where we are going as a club. Adebayor, Robinho, SWP all had useful contributions when we were on the journey up the ladder. Now we're near the top, the standard required is higher. Weaknesses have to be solved or the players in question replaced.

He could cost us the league all on his own. It wouldn't matter so much that Aguero and Balotelli drift in and out of games if we had a big up-and-at-'em striker in the Shearer mold, who could brush aside all the self indulgent mincing about and just get on with banging in a few goals when needed. It's meat and potatoes stuff.

Instead, we have Dzeko who joins in with the general aimlessness, and contributes nothing in the process. If ever a striker's goalscoring record this season was misleading, it's Dzeko's.

Even more impressive he scored 16 of those away from home. Talk about gutless or other such shite thrown at him.

He was dire today, but so were Aguero & Barry. The former could have sent him through on goal but botched the pass, no talk about that of course...

So, it's his fault he's being shoehorned into a role he quite obviously can't fill? Why don't people expect Balotelli to be the lump upfront? He's just as tall.
