Honourable mention to O'Neil, 22 points from 30 since he took over - showing the elephant man how to do it with his own players. (Can't really give it to MON though since he hasn't been in charge long enough).

With 2-3 top players, well not quite top, but good players like Sinclair and a bunch like that, i am confident he can fight his way for the 4th place next season.
But only if he doesn't go awol again and buys Heskey.

like you said, honourable mention to him but no more. the honeymoon period is still on for him.. hope it ends before they travel to Eastlands.

Pardew, Rodgers and maybe Lambert are competing for the manager of the season at the moment but the season is long and it just can't be decided yet.

14 games to go and Newcastle have achieved safety from relegation!!

If the season finished now I would give it to Pardew though, great effort.

Yep, thats a good shout. Even though Newcastle havent spent that much om transfer fees, they can provide salaries at a level that Swansea can't even dream of. Swansea probably has the lowest ratio in league if you compare the weekly salary budget with the amount of accumulated points.

I can't see that anybody else could be considered, in that scenario

The one thing we can all be certain of is; no matter how many points City may win the League by and even if we win the Europa League by a cricket score....It won't be Mancini
Beyond that, they can dish it out to Noddy and Big Ears...I couldn't care less.

The reason they don't have a shilling sheblue is that they give above average contracts to their players. They keep the players they do have very happy, which is why when they do go, it's to a big club and generally for a good fee.

David Moyes for guiding "penniless" and plucky Everton to eleventh, and for beating us once.

Oh, someone beat me to it.

Nah!!! With all the money at his disposal and the way our our Arabshave chucked their money about, anyone, including Wayne Rooney's granny could have and should have won the League by Xmas.

City have seriously pissed off the English football establishment Mate. Not only themoney but the speed of our rise. The powers that run football will not be handing out any plaudits with sky blue ribbons on.

Just on a City historical note.....
The last time we severely pissed off the English football establishment, for much the same reasons as now, we ended up with all our players, directors and management being banned from City for life, by an FA panel of our peers.

Your taxi was being pulled by a horse in those days though, would be a little difficult for them to pull the same trick now.
