When he goes off on one it sounds like he might explode he gets so wound up in his attacks on City.Utterly pathetic and laughable.

He did it a couple of weeks ago on the Sunday show before the Spuds game and Mickey Quinn ripped him for it. Then one after another, City fans rang him up and destroyed him. He ended up cutting many of them dead because he just couldn't answer the points being put to him.

At least he states his position though, rather than sticking in snidey digs like the rest do - however it rather undermines his journalistic integrity that he holds a clear view of opposition to the leaders of the premier league out of sheer jealousy. It's a shame, as I always found him reasonably entertaining before.

He was always portrayed as the victim when he had his famous falling out with Alan Green, but it seems that the relative professionalism that was required of him on 5 Live was a veneer hiding his true personality. He's quite clearly a petty and spiteful individual with a big mouth and risible opinions - par for the course on TalkShite then. Saggers and Green are transparently as loathsome as each other.

Dave "Rag" Smith on the Grimsby Evening Telegragh. Always goes on about Grimsby Town, Lincoln City and Scunthorpe United - never a mention of City.

Apparantly Alex Ferguson recieved a red card in the tunnel from Howard Webb after Sunday's game.
It said "happy valentines day".
