I was unlucky enough to listen to 'The Mouse' this morning and for that, everytime I drive back to work. He is the biggest sensationalist out there even commenting that he'd rather stay in the Championship rather than go back up with BFS.

However, this morning he was put in his place again by Brazil who told it him straight. The Mouse was talking about the Terry thing and then jumped in with 'Capello should resign' to which Brazil rightfully ripped into him about how he'd become one of the papparazzi, trying to get an angle on every story and making the worst of it in an attempt to bring any said team/player/official down (usually even harder if it's to do with City). Brazil does this a lot with The Mouse and hopefully soon Brazil will give him the push.

The Mouse is a 100% wanker who hasn't got the slightest idea of how the game is. He continually jumps on the Rags Bus and basically any other that is the old Top 4 which leaves him in a position that alienates most fans, or at least, he does me.

You have made that point before so it would seem that it is something you know to be true.
So if you know the way something is, and you have done what you can to change it ,why, the moaning about things that you know are going to happen.
You expect these people to be biased and they are living upto your expectations so you shouldn't be disappointed.

If you are only talking about that small issue of how some presenters and journalists positively report some, whilst negatively report on others, you could well be right in your assessment that there is no conspiracy or contrived movement against us.

However, I think you are over simplifying it mate. Whereas individual journos do have relationships with specific clubs that have been built up over years, most are also employees of media outlets and have to tailor their writing to fit the policy of their bosses.

A comment was made on talkshite last night regarding an unconnected subject where a journo had been sacked for not toeing his papers line. The comment was that "As a Talkshite presenter, he could expect the sack if he didn't."

Whilst there are journos who have a personal agenda, most have to write or report in a manner that comforms to the orders they are given.

It also helps to print the odd negative one, to get all their readers into a tiff but still watching/reading it. The big difference then comes when they follow the negative story with a 'let's kiss Ferguson, Booby Charlton, Kenny Dalglish's arse story a few days later, to reset the balance.

In our case it's usually followed by another piece having another go at us whilst praising Utd, Liverpool, Spurs whoever. Once again that suits many of their target audience.

I don't view this as a conspiracy though. The word 'conspiracy' suggests everyone is getting together as part of a plan to shit on us. This is absolutely not the case imo, it's just a lot of people who would prefer us not to succeed for their own reasons, going about their daily business which happens to coincide. Agendas yes, conspiracy, no.

But these recent posts are only really dealing with the media bias - when the same levels of ingrained bias manifests in football’s hierarchy and the officials then it is not something that you just need to be patient about because it is costing us big time now!!
Including possibly:

Taking the lead in Munich - which would have been quite important in the outcome of that group
FA cup place lost to the scum
Wembley trip lost to Liverpool
Commanding PL lead lost through numerous errors that have cost points

So are we just to be patient and see more of the same perhaps cost us the league title – because that is the likelihood if the same number of 'errors' occur in the remainder of the season – especially if coupled with the pro-scum bias!!

We might not be able to do fuck all about it but I for one do not feel like just sitting quietly going ‘Oh-Humm’.

There is a report in the news somewhere which states that we have got Marwood to write to the powers that be about how the club is quite preturbed by the inconsistent decisions we have been subject to lately,by using that for judgement it appears that along with the noise the fans are making and other folk the hierarchy can still just swat us away as an irritation,and if it can be seen that patience until there is a change in the hierarchy is the only solution,I think until then we have to suck it as it were,and be patient until we get rid of the ones with pro scum bias.
"Oh Humm" to me would be a good front while the Shiekh works behind the scenes to resolve this issue.

Hence we perceive the World as a whole, in concert, conspiring against us. That is not the case. To muddy the waters even further, there are areas that overlap, where one group will use another group to enhance their own agendas...eg the G14 using parts of the media, with the media's complicity.

THE G14...is a power group of rich and powerful clubs, that has created a huge financial trough, from which they reap huge financial rewards. They have little or no interst in football, other than football being the vehicle they are currently using to benefit themselves. They are currently pursuing a policy of attempting to control the global game, which will ultimately allow them to create and regulate the vast sums ($1,000sBn). To assist their agenda, they have huge sections of the media in their pocket. Please note that they are defined by money, control and power.
Part of their agenda is to defend what they have already got and they have no intention of sharing their ill gotten gains. It is for that reason they are anti nouveau riche and the reason we are their main target is simply because we are the club that threatens them most.
THE MEDIA...are parasites. They live off the game, they are about making profit. At present, the big established clubs are their biggest cash cow, offer them the biggest audiences/readership/ listenership and reap them the biggest profits. Attacking City and pandering to the big clubs, ensures that profit is maximised....at the moment. That would change if ever the media felt that being supportive of City would benefit them.

At present we seem to be the enemy of all and friend of none. We don't yet match up to the big boys and are seen as a threat to them.

Oh hum! and Suck it up maybe acceptable to some and it was tried, without success by the club in their dealings with the media. IT FAILED.
As far as clubs go, the rags are the biggest source of media revenue. The media need the rags and their huge support to maximise their profits. That fact enables the rags to treat the media like shit, refusing to speak to the BBC and banning certain journos/papers/radio stations, in the knowledge that the media will keep licking their arse and coming back for more.

Cuty don't yet have that massive audience and so we are relatively powerless to influence them in our favour. We do have a small number of supporters in the press but until the City support drastically increases and creates wealth fot the media, we will always suffer.

As well as being a football club, City are a business. As well as competing on the field, we also compete of it. Our owners have invested many many millions in City and they will at some point want to see some return. The club are actively purSuing their business to massively increase our income and increase our profile throughout the World. Whether with fans or with new business partners.
IMAGE IS ALL IMPORTANT. Our club has made huge efforts to show City as a proffessional and efficient business that has a strong link with the community and is a club worthwhile supporting and doing business with.
The media are destroying this constantly. The force, venom and hatred of the attacks on City defy credibility. We are constantly mauled by negative reportage that seeks to undo all the good work we are doing.
Both to potential business partners, who have regard for their own public image and to the casual observer or potential supporter, we are seen publically as a "failed club, with little or no history or tradition, that has come into money and is using it to buy success, with little or no regard to the spirit or ethos of the game." On the field we are being mullered by poor decisions that make us appear to be a nasty cheating dirty team, who whinge and moan when things don't go our way.

IT HURTS US AS FANS, DAMAGES CITY AS A CLUB AND UNDOES MUCH OF THE GOOD EFFORTS OF OUR BUSINESS TEAM.
