Merson & His Mates

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

I watched SS at the weekend and came away convinced we had lost our last 8 league games at least. Thankfully I was OK by 8 that night.

To be fair we have wobbled but, as very few of these clowns notice, we have a 'good run' of fixtures. There are very few games left which I dont expect us to win, especially with Yaya and Balotelli returning. They always talk about Fergie and his 'experience' but City in recent times always get stronger toward the end of the season. The simple fact is the ball-playing, skillful players (most of ours) prefer it when the pitches get better, to the snow and rain of winter.

I may be a tad biased, but all these things point to City pushing on to victory.

Mind you, those clips would have to have been recorded on a Saturday afternoon for them to exist at all, and seeing we never seem to play on Saturday afternoons such videos might take some finding.
I'm otherwise engaged after City matches, usually fighting my way past the speed cameras in Openshaw, but the point made about the peculiar hatred of City by Mark Saggers on Talksport is well made.

Cheers, JC.

The boozy twat's at it again. Seriously cant stand him and the rubbish he spouts.

Has there ever been a more inappropriate accompanying picture? Well, apart from him sitting in a speeding car snorting coke/speed/crystal meth/Vim/Ajax/his victim's ashes while clutching a bottle of vodka in each hand. The young man in that pic bears only a minimal resemblance to the bloated, raving nut job we all know and... err... love today.

You're spot on. We were always going to have a tough January and I had predicted us bring 3 or 4 points behind the scum now but with a good run ahead for us and a tough one for them. The Rags I know are shitting themselves now. The new year surge hasn't really happened! :)
