No comment on England being the USA's bitch then? I mean, it's embarrassing enough that we elected Bush ... But you lot followed him around like a puppy beggin for a treat.

@ Kinkykola,

What evidence do you have that we English followed Bush? Onthe evidence I have seen of Dubbya, itis more likely that he followed us. You don't actually believe that he would have found Eyeraq on his own, do you?

I do hope Romney becomes President...I will find the vision of thousands of Septics all chanting "mitmitmitmitmitmitmitmit" very Pythonesque

This conversation is dumb, of course every country, nation, place, city, has dumb, smart, educated, uneducated, this n that kind of people. People who say that American's are stupid or w/e, should stop watching their shows (lots of greats one's), movies (lots of great one's), listening to music (lots of legend artists), NBA etc. America is one of the countries who has most influence on the rest of the world.

it's truth that most common people don't know where some countries are located (they don't really care for it), but easily you can find that in any country, how many of you can locate all the 50 states in United States? Not many.

So nothing is certain in any kind of people, because there's a exception to everything.

And whats your point? U follow USA around cause you're allied with them. Most common people in US don't even care for UK, ya got no influence what so ever. Those days are gone mate, revolutionary war fucked it up for y'all in US.
England is made up mostly of English people, while America is made up mostly of all European people, who got there through centuries searching for a "better" life. English is not even official language of US (they don't have 1).

Uk is responsible for making the whole country nobody can denied that, but that's history, now it's way different.

It's one of those really sad scenes you see on a reality tv show or something, where the kid is a total spoiled brat and just goes about telling the parents what to do and screaming at them when they don't get their way. And bless their hearts if the parents don't do everything the kid says too! It's out of love, we know it is ... but Bush and Blair did go so well together!

It's all in good fun, I hope no one is taking it too seriously ... TN may have gotten caught up in the moment, but his heart was in the right place. You just have to remember TN, they are an island people, with an island mentality ... it worked when they were THE world power ... but now it just holds them back.

DZEKO:

I hope he takes this opportunity to up his game. He should have some confidence after his goal and if he keeps his head up and works hard, more goals will come. He is the type of striker that we need in our squad ... whether or not he is the player to fill that role is totally up to him.

Nah, no comment on Bush, He isn't worth thinking about. The citizens of the USA elected him , you will have to sort that one out. It says how bad and how far things have come that the US elected such a character. Read Craig Ungers books on Bush.

As for being the US's bitch, also not true, Blair may have been. But then again Blair was bitch to many political leaders ( and I certainly didn't vote for him ).

It shows how bad things are when you leave autocorrect on your phone. I never use it , or have need for it.

Now back to the subject.....

Edin has been given a ridiculously hard time as seen on this thread reaching over ten pages. Most of which is a waste of time.

He is one very, very good player amongst many great players at City right now. Not all players will be brilliant every week. When things aren't going the way we as fans, want them to go, we all to easily search for a scapegoat. This happenend after the Everton game. Edin was that scapegoat on here. He certainly was no worse in that game than Gareth Barry, Lescott, David Silva.

A week earlier he scored the only goal in a difficult game at wigan. No complaints then were there ?

Recently Gareth Barry's performances have been less than spectacular, his passing appears to have gone , however his general play and the way he reads the game make up for a lot these other temporary errors. He hasn't been given this kind of roasting.

We lost as a team at Everton, we won as a team against Fulham. I thought Edin had a good, but fairly quiet game against Fulham.

This thread was started after the Everton game and I simply want to point out that I think it is wrong to take one game in isolation also that the team were bad at Everton, not just Edin.

So I think we are Edin for some goals this sunday at Villa, they are an open playing team that will try to create chances and in doing so will allow City to go forward and create chances.

I totally agree with you here on everything (i didn't vote for bush! just like you didn't vote for blair ... but heyho) and the autocorrect has only ever forced me into mistakes! I never bothered to turn it off but thank you, i've just done it.

we do put players under a lot of criticism for very little at times ... at the same time, we are paying big money for these players now and it's a reasonable expectation that they at least put the effort in. I think this has been Dzeko's biggest fault, in that sometimes he just seems totally not bothered. Again, that's just perception, but that is what is going to get the fans on his back more than anything. I do think he needs to up his workrate and his teamwork to be a truly effective part of this team.

And? Nothing is stopping America in our lifetime n beyond. As long as they stick to their constitution (which is one of the best article's ever written, in my opinion). They'll be one of the strongest countries for many years to come.

Anyways hat trick for Dzeko vs A.Villa :D

You mean the 'Consitution' that Richard Cheney so conveniently ignored whilst in office as Vice President ?

It would be great if Edin could get a hat trick, but I'll settle for simply three points right now , one goal more than the
opposition will do for me.
