I love dzeko. Although he's been away with injury he's amazing. But he doesn't make great decisions, like augero but with the right formations we have a great set of strikers.

I can't be bothered reading the first 14 pages but Dzeko is brilliant IF we play him the right way. If we play with wingers and get crosses into the box he's brilliant. If we're gonna stick him in the team and ask him to play a short passing game and come deep, he may aswell not play.

Which wingers ?

That's the thing, we don't really have any. We badly need two out and out wingers. Not necesserily to start every game but to give us an option and flexibility to change things. Nasri, Silva and Milner and even Johnson have a tendancy to play centrally. We need a Valencia type player. The amount of goals United get from getting the ball out wide and delivering into the box.

Surely then it's upto Dzeko to adapt & get on with it ? The biggest criticism Dzeko gets from most people, me included, is not for failing to score in a game, it when he fails to compete, particularly against big strong CB's. Imagine if we had two wingers plus Dzeko & Aguero, then we would be leaving out Silva, Yaya or both & basically playing two stoppers in midfield. If we did play Silva, we'd have one defensive player there. Who feeds the wingers ? In the old days with that system, Quinn, Royle, Shearer, Rosler, Hughes, etc etc, would hold off the Cb, fire the ball over to the wings & head for the penalty area.

If Dzeko was playing that role & gave up & lost the ball without a fight, like he has on many occasions this season, we'd have the oppo midfield in possesion running at Gareth Barry & David Silva whilst our players are stranded out wide.

However you look at it, Dzeko's future at the club depends on him getting stuck in. If he does that he'll be fine, if he doesn't he'll be gone.

Ted i mostly agree with ewrithing u write but adapt to one stayle , i think hes not briliant at all hes having so -so season but still score enough goals and if u see that when Edin dont play well most of the team is not play well i agree with that he somtimes not try hard enough but its up to him to fit hes score goals assist i dont know i witch way u need him to fit , hes not Aguero so he cant do much when he dont have space and delivery but if u give him that he will score , think we have 3 greath strikers and i think that BRF. has a point why not have a players to change or suprise teams with other tactics , think Ballo with do well with wingers and kun also .City is the best team in Premire , but i must say that utd is one lucky and well lets say refres dont have problems with them and thats the reason they are still there in run.
