Strange strange game. Bad team selection and approach to the game for Liverpool as they didnt go to attack at all. Ok for the first half I suppose but then it all went wrong when Henderson flicked on for shrek to score.Pity he couldnt do something decent at the other end!

Gerard looked bored,Henderson shocking,Downing even worse,Kuyt irrelevant and still they manages a goal and to scare them for a minute or two near the end. Where was the effort?

The key to me was that Suarez still had a chance of getting the ball after the tackle. Ferdinand made sure he went through the back of him after he'd touched the ball, to stop Suarez from reaching it. Anywhere else on the pitch, Dowd would give a free kick.

Anywhere else on the pitch, he was 40 yards out. But I agree, he had to take the player out. If Saurez had gone doen from the tackle then fair enough but his theatrics to try and get him sent off went against him.
