Hes best mates with Palermo...he was being asked about him ect and the commentator said to him that all the fans are waiting for him to play in this match....he said that they will have to keep waiting....as in ...he wont play.

He's coming back (according to the mail) and has agreed to patch things up with Mancini. He's also "been working with a fitness coach" while in exile. Will be back in "72 hrs"

I've actually resigned myself to the fact that he's likely going to come back and be "re-integrated" for the rest of the season. I think it's the only way we're going to be able to get anything like market price for him and, from his perspective, the only way he's going to be in the shop window (in a guise other than "would you like to buy a mutinous cunt from Argentina") and get himself the kind of move that he wants (eg. anywhere but FC Gulag).

Will he get in shape enough to play again: doubtful

If he does and plays, could he do a job and take us towards the title: probable

So, hey ho, que sera, sera

I'd rather we won or lost the title without him.
He would have to personally apologize - and I mean GROVEL - to Mancini, the Fans , the team , and the Sheikh before he wears our shirt again.

Because Mancini said he's coming back and that he'll play him.

Agree totally.

Assume he comes back and gets fit. Last game of the season against QPR. 0-0 with two minutes to go, we need to win to win the league. Would you rather he scored and the papers were full of him the next day or that we finished second and he got nowhere near the team?

I'm still in the let him rot camp and, at the moment, I'd rather finish second than see him in a City shirt again. Two minutes to go versus QPR and I might change my mind...

My concern would be that he would deliberately play badly. I don't mean stink the place out so that he gets dropped and can't move in summer. I mean looks great, works hard, gets lots of chances but suddenly starts putting them over the bar or against the keeper. Especially against QPR, considering Hughes has been one of his biggest supporters. Would Kia let Tevez relegate Hughes and give the glory to Mancini?

At the end of the day, if he comes back and gets himself into shape, we'll have no choice but to have him in the team ....... and play him.

All it needs is for Balotelli to not pass to him once when Tevez is unmarked on the back post, in training or an actual match (I say Balo because you just know it would be him) and the media will jump all over it and bring us down with none stop stories about team morale.

We have what , 15 games left? We are doing ok, if we can win today we are back on track imo. Will having Tevez around help us or hinder us? Id rather not bother trying to find out, keep him WELL away from Carrington and the stadium.

Fuck putting him in the shop window, its the fucking Premier League Championship we are talking about here. Every club in the world knows they can bid 20 mill in the summer and get him.

All this bollocks about him giving 100% on the pitch, I distinctly remember him coming onto the pitch in a home game earlier this season and clearly didnt give a shit about putting in even 50% effort.

Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

I don't buy this stuff about Tevez not trying, I think it's bollocks. We've played him in games when he's not been fit, sometimes because of his own habits during the close season, sometimes because he's been injured & we were still desperate for him to play.

If he plays this season, it's unlikely he could produce the same level as he can when 100% match fit, so people will accuse him of not trying anyway. He also tends to respond to the crowd & raise his game, so that part will also be missing.

Imo, he shouldn't get anywhere near our team, but if Mancini plays him then I'll back Mancini & the team, not Tevez.

Mancini has played it smart here though, as his comments prevent any sneaky moves by the snake to say City had ostracised Tevez. He's closed any legal loophole they may have been hoping to exploit & use as an excuse. Now tevez has nowhere to go.
