Eh? When did he say he will apologise? He still hasn't admitted doing anything wrong.

Carlos Tevez has suggested he is happy to play for Manchester City again if boss Roberto Mancini is genuine about welcoming him back into the squad.

Tevez has not played for City since it was claimed he refused to warm up against Bayern Munich in September.

"If I was wrong, I say sorry," Tevez told Fox Sports in Argentina. "I believe I did not make a mistake.

"If it [Mancini's stance] is true, of course I like that. If it's [meant] for the media, no."

. Great player who always gave 100% for us on the pitch .. we've moved on now ... FUCL OFF

If he was wrong, what does he mean by if? He refused to warm up by his own admission, this is doing something wrong, is it not?

I might do a bit of a search just to make sure Tevez didn't copy my thoughts. Cheeky little twat.

Carl,
Whether we, the club, or Bob like it or not, it seems Tevez is going to be knocking on the gate in the next few days.
To maintain our legal position, we have to allow him onto the premises.
Bob has publically (though maybe thinks differently privately) stated he has to apologise to be accepted back into the fold.

Those abive things look likely to happen and we haveto deal with them. What we don't know is the physical condition of Tevez nor how he may react if picked. Only the club, Bob and his staff can assess that.

I can't stand the guy nor have any time for those advising him but I am open minded on this. If Tevez fits all the criteria of fitness, focuss and willingness to go out on the pitch and give 100% for City, it would seem stupid to pay him millions and leave him skiving in a corner.
I think Bob would be right to assess the situation and make his decisions accordingly.

It can get very draughty and cold, stood on your own on the moral high ground, watching from a distance as some other club does laps of honour with the trophy rthat we could have won. If we need him, we should use him....If we deem it right.

Am I missing something here? Why are people under the impression that he will apologise?

Because Kia said he's ready to in a different interview.

By the way, I've just had a text to say that in no way did Tevez say Mancini treated him like a dog, like Sky have summised. Just for the record.

Anyone else see the slimey one on SSN there?

Fuck me. I can't begin to imagine the sheer feeling of extacy that punching him repeatedly in the face would provide.

This looks nailed on to me now. It's clearly been discussed at length behind the scenes and now the wheels are in motion.

I don't get it either. Snide remarks directed at Mancini, bigging up Fergiescum & his minions, the same ol' "it wasn't me, i'm the victim here" routine...

Get fucked Carlos.

I just hope we are playing the legal game and he doesn't get a game. I've never ever booed a player in a City shirt and really don't want to give him the satisfaction of being my first ... not that I consider him a City player now despite what contract he's on

The truth is John, we have no say at all in the matter unless we boycott the game if he's called up. As you say, this is between Mancini and Tevez and the outcome of talks will probably be kept very private. There's legal and contractual issues which will also be taken into consideration but one thing for sure is that they will have to sort it pronto so it doesn't hang over our heads; I'm sure this will be the case.

Also, I don't think there'll be any issues with the players having him back. What are your thoughts Douglas?

No mate, I've got it on my Sky Go but like CityGer says, it's really on. You could even say that it's been choreograghed perfectly from Roberto to Carlos to Kia.
