That made me laugh. I mean out loud.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Ive seen the interview of tevez talking about him being treated like a dog and about the argument that was going on between dzeko and mancini, to be honest i can see why he got pissed off.........

if mancini spoke to him like shit because he was pissed with dzeko id be fucked off, but still dont make it okay to not pull on the shirt, but i think this was partly mancinis fault too.

I'm sure I remember reading that a member of a club's squad has to play in a certain number of matches in a season. If they don't then they can demand a transfer. Sadly I can't remember how many matches and the details of the transfer, it might even be a free. I don't know if being AWOL for several months, thereby being unavailable for selection, will count against a player.

But if he makes himself fit enough for selection but can't be played cos of his attitude to Bobby / the rest of the players / the club, then he won't make that number. I bet that's what the sneaky toerag and his Svengali mentor are trying to do.
If you can keep your head when all around you are losing theirs, it's just possible that you haven't really grasped the gravity of the situation.

Carlos Tevez: I want to win the Manchester City fans back
Stuart Brennan

Carlos Tevez has hinted that he wants to win back the affection of Manchester City fans… and says he will do double training sessions and be fit and available to play for the Blues in a fortnight.
The Argentine striker will return to Manchester on Tuesday after a three-month unpaid absence which has cost him almost £10million in fines, and unpaid wages and image rights. He also said that if he gets back playing, he wants to prove himself again, and that City will see him playing better than ever.
“I want to go back to Manchester and win the City fans back,” said Tevez. “People turned their back on me but it's normal. I didn't understand.
“I've decided to return to City. I know I have what it takes to revert the situation. I know it'll be hard, but it's a nice challenge.”

City boss Roberto Mancini said at the weekend that Tevez would be welcome if he said sorry. Tevez said he had been heartened by those quotes, but was cautious about his relationship with the manager. “If it's true that Mancini said he will welcome me back if I'm fit, then I like those quotes. But if he only said it for the media...

“Mancini's position got stronger when Kun Aguero arrived. I don't know if he would have done the things he did if this was last season. “Last season we almost exchanged punches! But he never said anything. He got a better team this season and felt like making the decision.

“Now that I have a cooler head, I understand City fans. Back in the heat of the moment I didn't. I did a lot of things for City. “To be insulted by fans after what happened in Munich was something I didn't deserve. “They could have kicked me out of the club without saying all the things they said. Deal with the situation in a different way. “I think that's where Mancini got things wrong. If we had a problem, we could have sorted it out in a different way.

“Last season, after a home game vs. Newcastle, we almost hit each other in the dressing room. But we spoke the following day. “Mancini is a winner. And I'm a winner too. None of us like to lose." Talking at length about the Munich incident for the first time, he said: "I decided not to talk to the media for the last four months. Last time I spoke was right after the Bayern Munich game. “It was a delicate situation. I decided to say nothing about it during all this time.

“I had warmed up during the first half. Then I went to dressing room. For the second half I was ready. “In that second half Mancini decided to replace Dzeko with de Jong. It was a defensive substitution. I didn't understand. Dzeko argued with Mancini. “I decided to sit. Mancini was upset from arguing with Dzeko. Then he looks at me and asks me to warm up.
“Mancini told me all sorts of things there. I don't know why. I was relaxed. I was talking to Zabaleta. I had no problems. “I never refused to play. I refused to keep warming up. The club investigated and then they fined me.

“I was worried about my future after that two-week fine. That fine was OK. But I want people to know the truth. They didn't want to.

“The club statement protected the manager. I got a lot of heat from the media in England, Argentina, everywhere. “Every time I wanted to take my daughter to school I had five journalists on my back. I trained with the reserves. It was uncomfortable. “I was affected because of this situation. I wanted to find shelter with my family.”

He then went on: “It is true that AC Milan had an interest in me. City didn't want to lose money. It wasn't good for City having me away in Buenos Aires. “I have been training on my own. I know I can be back on the pitch in two weeks. I'm willing to play.

“There's no need for City to make me have 2 training sessions a day. I'll do it myself.
“I picture myself going back on the pitch and I know I have to play better than I ever did.”

He added that he still prefers English football: “I love the English league. I think it's the best in the world. I have a problem with Christmas and New Year's Day. You have to play.

“Going to train on 24 December, sometimes play on the 25th. It's tough. I didn't like that.”

sorry if this was already posted. just woke up.

What does that knobhead think he has any say on tactics. Let's face it, he is a fine footballer on his day but thick as fucking pig shit. He is about last person whose opinion I care about regarding football tactics. If your manager tells you to warm up, you do so.

I could full well see what Mancini was trying to do in that Munich game. He knew he got it wrong from the start and we lost the midfield battle. Dzeko was doing fuck all there as we couldn't get the ball to him. He took Dzeko off and put De Jong on to control midfield and then was planning to throw Tevez in there because he could drop deeper to pick balls and do something with it.

But that's all besides the point. Football team is no democracy. Manager is there to make the decisions and players obey. If manager gets it wrong more often than not then he will be sacked. But then in comes another manager who makes those decisions and again you are asked to obey blindly. If Tevez fancies himself as a manager then he needs to call it quits and become a manager. As long a he is player he will need to do EXACTLY as told.

P.s. what does he mean by "sometimes having to play 25th of december"??

He's fucking thick.

Well if someone treated me like shit because they was upset with someone else id tell them to stick it, if it was just once then fair enough and you got an apology but tevez worked his ass off for the club and mancini when he was on the pitch maybe he expected to be treated better. And i agree with tevez point of view when he said that he was in a bad mood when mancini took of dzeko and put on de jong as he thought it was a defensive sub and would we rather lose 2-0 than 4-0.

I think that because we was outplayed by bayern that night alot of egos was hurt and alot of blame thrown around and think it all could of been handled better.

Carlos Tevez: Manchester City return worries ex-players
Carlos Tevez's return to Manchester City could be damaging to dressing-room morale at the club, according to former goalkeeper Joe Corrigan.
Tevez, who arrived in Manchester on Tuesday, has been in Argentina without City's permission since 7 November.
"I hope he doesn't get the chance to play," Corrigan told BBC Sport.
"It will all boil down to whether the player and manager Roberto Mancini can come to an agreement, but no-one is bigger than the club."
Former England international Corrigan spent 16 years at City and helped the club win the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1970. He was also part of the team that finished runners-up in the top flight in 1976-77.
Tevez, 28, has not played since manager Mancini accused the striker of refusing to come off the bench against Bayern Munich on 27 September.
City were second in the Premier League table at the time but have since gone top. They lead the table by two points from Manchester United with 13 games remaining.
"Since the Tevez situation reared its head the team spirit has increased, which has been proven by them digging in and getting results," continued Corrigan.
"[Tevez] looked ridiculous the way he was acting. He has not been missed in my opinion."
Meanwhile, former City winger Dennis Tueart said that he was surprised with Tevez's remarks on the eve of his return, when he accused Mancini of treating him "like a dog".
"When you're trying to build bridges, I'd suggest that's not the best way of doing it," said Tueart.
Former City chairman and player Francis Lee said that Tevez would not be forgiven if he hurt dressing room morale.
"You can't have people making trouble in the dressing room when you've got the tremendous spirit that City have now," said Lee. "That type of player - and one or two of the others he's let go - would be contrary to what you're trying to build.
"I'm sure that Patrick Vieira, who was a great player, is Mancini's eyes and ears in the dressing room.
"If he came back and destroyed the team spirit that they've got now, which would probably win them the Premier League, then nobody would forgive him."
Kevin Parker, general secretary of the Manchester City Supporters Club, added that many fans did not want Tevez back at the club.
"Most fans don't want him around the place but it's a difficult one as the club have no choice because he's contracted," said Parker, who travelled to the Bayern Munich game in September when the controversy erupted.
"After everything that happened in Munich, we all thought he would never play again.
"He needs to make a number of apologies - to the manager and his team-mates. Then he needs to publicly apologise to the supporters whether it is a press conference or in the form of a statement.
"But I'll still be surprised, even if Tevez apologises, if he ends up in the team or on the bench." BBC Sport

At that point mate I don't think we were outplayed by Bayern. We were the better team for the first 20 minutes. As Mancini has said previously, he was planning on bringing Dzeko off and shoring things up before putting Tevez, another striker on. I can see what Mancini was trying to do there.

With regards being talked to like shit. I think most people at some point in their job catch the boss in a bad mood. For the rest of us we just get on with it. Because Tevez didn't like the tone in which Mancini asked him to warm up that gives him the right to not do his job at all?

First of all, T***z worked his arse off for T***z, no one else.

Now, onto your being treated like shit argument. Let's say your boss in work requests that you carry out a task, you refuse. You then see the boss giving someone else a bollocking. Do you at this point say I should go and do that task he requested of me because he looks to be in a right stinker of a humour, or do you sit there and refuse knowing full well that you're going to piss him off even more?

just a thought - and in no way meant to be anything but negative Tevez - but has anyone actually heard him say this "....like a dog" quote - rather than see it reported.

I only ask because I saw it reported on SSN and then they show a clip of an interview in which I di not hear him say it.
