Bojinov didnt really show much at all, being on the sidelines injured for most of his time with us.
There havent been such a talked about up and coming youngster in Sweden since Zlatan. The time with Feynoord are doing him a world of good. Being picked for the national side is just a matter of time i think.

I think he would relish the thought of coming back to city and have another go; Next season that is. Having another year loaned out wouldnt be a bad idea either.

Having him come through all the way, would be another success story to our brill academy

He looked fantastic in the brief few minutes he got before his injury. Then looked nothing afterwards.

The thing that gives Guidetti a better chance than most is his attitude. He has that desire on the pitch which is straight out of the Paul Dickov (& yes Tevez) book. What he lacks in finesse he may make up for with sheer bloody mindedness. He has shown some fantastic technique too on occasions though; it's just that he has a clumsy/ungainly look about him, even when he's doing nothing wrong technically.

Well that's a good comparison, as I believe that if Dzeko had half of Guidetti's attitude he would be the best striker in the world.

Well that's a good comparison, as I believe that if Dzeko had half of Guidetti's attitude he would be the best striker in the world.

That's a dilema that we are going to face regularly. We will have many youngsters who reach a stage in their development at which they are looking for first team action. The club are going to have to make some big decisions and as the standard and number of younger players at the club increases we will no doubt lose the odd gem.

Hence why I wouldnt expect Guidetti to play any starring roles for City anytime next season.

It's unlikely we'll sign another out & out striker without letting a couple go imo. If any two of Balotelli, Tevez & Dzeko were to leave, I think we'd sign a striker but if just one goes (ie Tevez) I think we'll spend the money on creative attackers rather than another goalscorer. It's more likely to be AJ & Nasri who have the extra competition than Guidetti imo.

It will depend imo on how Dzeko performs between now & May. If he does well & works hard, we will just add Guidetti for next season. If he's still not convincing, Bob will consider cashing him in whilst he is still worth plenty of money & bringing in a replacement.

I don't see us having 4 big money strikers on the books.
