Chelsea are in shambles. No organization, no real leadership. AVB must be sacked soon if Chelsea have any hope of finishing in the top 4. Thank god we didn't buy Cahill, looks like a shit Savic (and is 5 years older).

Agree about Cahill. At the top level he looks like an average defender at best (and that's probably being generous to him). I've never understood all the media fuss about him

Anybody think Torres could've made a difference tonight?

If Tevez and Dzeko move on in the summer as hopefully they wil, Cavani and Lavezzi will be perfect replacements.

Canvani is top top class up top and Lazvezzi can play in the middle and out wide on either side. Both would be a massive improvement on Tevez and Dzeko.

There you go, we become Napoli. Very true, but do you really want Italian' we've seen it before?

Cavani really puts a shift in & also makes very intelligent/sneaky runs & certainly would be much easier to find with a pass than Dzeko is at present but I don't trust Lavezzi. The talent is obvious but imo so is the possibility of annoying/frustrating failure. Not convinced.

If we had played at even half our capabilities though, it would of been us dicking Chelsea tonight. We were beaten by a side who, as Lurch said on commentary, rely on two players. Unfortunately we defended like Chelsea on the night, especially Yaya. We let ouselves down. We could have easily stopped Cavani for both goals.

Tevez gone, Lavezzi in.

I'd be happy if that was the only business done this summer.

As for AVB, Ashley cole clearing the ball off the line says everything that needs to be said about the clueless cunt. But I'll say more anyway. What possible reason could he have to drop the best and most consistent left back in England for the last decade in place of a shit right back WHILE YOUR BEST CB IS INJURED in a CL game you could of won. A win that would have boosted his struggling side. Pay less attention to your hair and suits and get a clue you arse clown. Not that I give a shit as I can't stand Chelsea.

sure we could have, if Im not wrong, he scored three against us.
anyway, I dont watch much of serie A, but beginning to like Cavani really much. still Im not sure if he could be Džekos replacement, not that Edin is irreplaceable.

Also,
Napoli kinda looks like City on the screen, sky blue, inler=ndj...me kinda like them.

and while Im at it, fuck chelsea.

Not convinced their strikers would make it in the prem. I worry about their work rate and lack of getting their socks muddy.

How the fuck did we only score 2 goals in 2 games against that Napoli defence they are worse than shocking. If only Chelsea had a decent striker they could have scored 5.

Napoli defended better than that at our place, & we were incompetent at theirs. Our performance in both games would have seen us struggle to beat a mediocre Prem Lg team though, as would our performance at Bayern. We were mostly shite in the Champion's Lg; ponderous in attack & dozy in defence. We would have no chance winning the title if we sank to that level every week.

Hopefully we've done or bit of bottling it now, & we can do ourselves justice next season.

Lavezzi proving yet again how good he is. I know the record's broken, but I'm glad opinions of him have finally turned around on here. The very best replacement for Tevez we could find, imo.

We weren't great in the 1-2 against VIllareal either. Hopefully with a kinder draw/this season and Europa behind us we'll at least make it through the groups next year.

Seriously? I thought both worked their socks off last night as they did against us. Grafters compared to Dzeko.

Cavani's movement and the intelligence of his runs is a joy to watch. Gives his team mates some brilliant options.

I agree with Grob. Cavani and Lavezzi for Dzeko and Tevez would be fantastic.

I think AVB was finished before tonight - rumours of players not responding to his methods, of Abramovich getting involved in training and team selection - Drogba providing the team talks in the other game etc.

As for not blaming the manager for a poor performance - if an Orchestra is playing out of time you blame the conductor.
