Yes, I would rather we finished second to the rags than have to have a load of photos of him holding up the trophy after he scores the crucial goal.

If the club play him, then I'd have to ask where their self respect has gone as well.

As for Mancini, I don't know what pressure he's under to play him or not. For legal reasons others may have decided he has to be picked. For football reasons, Mancini may have decided he wants to pick him, regardless of the view of the owners. Or they may all agree. Either way, if he plays for City again, a little bit of the soul of the club will have died in the pursuit of money or a title.

As I've said before, wanting him back is beaten wife syndrome. Willing to accept the abuse and humiliation because he really loves you, or in this case MAY win the league. Or, as is equally likely, cause us to not win it, due to the problems he's going to cause and there's still no guarantee he'll do it on the pitch, just like he hasn't for the last 14 months.

If tomorrow, there was a statement from City that read.....
"If, in the near future, life was found on other planets and some aliens were considered good enough, City would certainly consider picking them for the team."
The media headlines would be "City are signing aliens."

It would create headlines, reports, and thousands of idiots would take part in nonsense phone ins. No doubt, fans would give it credibilty, treat the issue as truth and debate it thoroughly on forums.

....and despite being told it was nonsense, would ignore the reality and find some way to manufacture their own arguments.
I KNOW THAT YOU BELIEVE THAT YOU UNDERSTOOD WHAT YOU THINK I WROTE, BUT I AM NOT SURE YOU REALISE THAT WHAT YOU READ IS NOT WHAT I MEANT

So let me get this clear in my head...you would rather the rags win the league...their 20th title... than City with the league with Tevez in the team?

I'm literally stunned...and that doesn't happen often

Beat Blackburn we are 5 points clear of the SCUM, who gives a flying fuck about a fall out from last fucking year, Old news, the players have no problem and the manager is seemingly ok with it on the face of it. When we are running round our fucking stadium with the fucking Barclays Premier League Trophy, I would not give a fucking rats arse if Carlos the fucking Jackal scored the goal that brought it to MCFC, move the fuck on for the greater good.

He didn't fall out with the manager. He fell out with the manager, the chief executive, the owner, the fans, the city of Manchester and all but two of its restaurants. But hey, welcome back to Manchester, Carlos.

I would. I'm clearly not the only one, although it could be just two of us. We've won nothing throughout my time of being a City fan until last year. I can live with another year of not winning a title if it means I didn't had to see Herman in a City shirt again.

All this does still have the assumption that if he's in the team we'd win it. There's no guarantee of that and I still think we're more likely to lose it if he plays than if he were to slip under a bus on his way home this afternoon. There's no proof either way, but we've done a lot better this season than last and he's basically not played this season (3 appearances, no goals)

What is the point on dwelling on it, The only one to gain would the SCUM, players since 76 have changed they are not born in Ancoats or Burnage and live the dream playing for the club they love. I see your point, would I want his type in a blue shirt in my all time City team, NO, I do want to change the landscape of football in this City and never ever hear a SCUM fan gloat ever again. They know Rooney is a twat my brother a rag hates the scouse twat.

No-one likes Tevez, why would we? But preferring to finish 2nd is just ridiculous. Sorry, it really is.

That is a little presumptious. I can see the ragtop headlines now, City fan wonderwall shouted 3 letter abuse at tevez which handed the title to taggarts mob.
How dare i disrespect him after what he has done for/to my club.

Yep. Absolutely ludacris.

And Bob I'm suprised at you mate. Why do you keep persisting that those of us who don't wish to boo any of the team on the pitch, automatically want to cheer tevez??

He's a cunt, but a cunt who the club have put back into the frame for a title run in for whatever function/reason.

No point being angry with those of us who disagree with booing the team.

We are close to winning the premier league and when we do, he'll be leaving for another club.

Tevez input this season will be forgotten in a while. Our title will never be.

And I'm not saying he will play a part in it... What I am saying is any public negativity towards him on the pitch (should he come on), could well do.

Franny Lee, bullshitted his way to Chairman, Downward with Franny, and got away with it, was captain of the ship which nose dived towards oblivion whilst the SCUM pissed, themselfs laughing at us, he still pops up with a waive or 2 for the older fans. No booing or abuse.

WE know we hate him. HE knows we hate him.

WE know what a complete and utter cunt he is, and he knows that too.

I also know that booing him isnt going to make him feel any different about what hes done, because its clear he's not arsed either way....

One thing booing WILL do, is increase his motivation to piss us off further. Either by throwing in poor performances, whispering in ears, rocking the boat etc etc. He needs to play well to get himself out of this shitty situation he's landed himself in, but dont think that that's reason enough for him not to be a stubborn cunt and fuck us over once more before he leaves.

Obviously the clear solution to prevent all of this is to fuck him off, but the club have decided thats not the way they want to go, so it makes sense now to grin and bear it.

if the players and manager / management staff are happy to have him back well then that's good enough for me. forgive and forget, move on, win the league, sell tevez in the summer get a good price for him. without him playing the price goes down.

Taken from newsmanc.co.uk

Manchester City orc Carlos Tevez has offered a ‘sincere and unreserved’ apology to his bank manager, agent, sponsors and other financial advisors.
In an official statement released through the Manchester City FC website the semi-formed striker spoke of his ‘deep regret’ at the £10million in fines he has amassed since fucking off for a three-month golf holiday following a refusal to jog up and down on a small patch of grass as per his contract.
The statement read: “I wish to apologise sincerely to my bank manager Howard Elton at HSBC, my agent and cunt Kia Joorabchian and my financial advisor Sabhia Khan at Growler & Bratwurst.”
“My actions have had a detrimental effect on them and my wish is to now get back to withdrawing as much money as I can from whatever project I’m involved in, whether that’s in Manchester, Paris, Dubai or anywhere else that’s offering the most spondulics.”
“I’m hoping that I can get my head down and concentrate on around two and half months of football before engineering a move to that Russian club that’s paying everyone an absolute shitload. Angie is it? The one Eto’o and Carlos have gone to. Anzhi? Oh, whatever.”
It is not known how Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini will react to Tevez’s apology.
In an interview on Argentinian television Tevez is reported to have said that Mancini had treated him “like a football player” and was continually nagging him to “run up and down and kick spherical objects.”
When asked at a press conference about how he thought the fans would feel about his potential return Tevez sat looking vacant for over two minutes in compete silence. A spokesman for the striker later revealed that he was thinking about golf and money.

Tickled me anyway!

Franny obviously thought he could do the job and couldn't. Yes it was a disaster, but I don't see that as a deliberate attempt to cause problems.

Tevez on the other hand...

Radio Manchester last night asked the question of would you trust him to take a crucial penalty? Ignore that we have better penalty takers at the club. If in the last minute against QPR we had a title winning penalty and he was best placed to take it, would you trust him to not miss on purpose?

In some ways I could see him wanting to score, so he could get all the glory of being the one who won us the title (ignoring the previous 80 odd points he had nothing to do with). At the same time, I could see him hitting the corner flag, telling the fans what he thinks and walking off. And I'd say the chances of either were about evens.

So, would you trust him?

In that scenario I'd much rather see Blobby Fowler taking the penalty!
