What an ineffective job of getting us to 4th in the premiership with a game in hand he has done.

So you think we are playing well enough to be in the 4th place, or are the others just as bad as us we have the talent on the field but not off when we get both we will be alright

Just thinking along a different path......

Do you think that Barca have secretly poached our management duo and they are about to move on - perhaps they were there making plans???

Should we start a few threads to to discuss how worried we should be about this unexpected turn of events???

I will check the Sun / Mirror tomorrow to get the facts

Didn't wish to start a new thread for this little snippet of information but I thought I'd include on the end here. I've a friend who's on his way to Romania to watch the Gers tomorrow night and guess who was on his flight to Munich... Mr Sparkless Hughes and Brian Marwood! Ribery do we think? Perhaps he wants to play with 3 sitters instead of two! ;-)

Ribery didn't play tonight, he was injured.

Lahm, Schweinsteiger or Gourcouff are three possibilities who did play

Perhaps he is on a nostalgia trip, visiting his former clubs? Or maybe Barca and Bayern have had "legends" nights and he has been chatting to fans... Ok, perhaps not :O)

Gourcuff yes please!

Well he wouldn't have enjoyed the crap that Bayern played last night would he ?

I think that another leg has been sawn off Van Gaal's stool. Perhaps he (Hughes) was negotiating for his new Job.

Ah the magnificant Louis Van Gaal. Another one that we could have had to save us from certain doom!

Now why on earth would Hughes want to trade places with Van Gaal? He's sitting pretty in fourth with a game in hand in the best league in the world - which means he's obviously going nowhere just yet! - and he has time and money to make us great.

Would you move if you were him?

I suspect it was just wishful thinking by Zuricity.

No not at all guys, I was just hanging on the tails of the joke thread about him being in Barca for their job.

This season I'm not even going to discuss who should be manager or not. The owners have given the current manager
notice of what they expect City to achieve. So unless it all goes belly up pretty quickly, which I doubt, given the massive
amounts of money made available to Hughes, he must achieve a minimum of sixth place. Currently we are on target for that and even better. So at the moment it seems the Tafia can do no wrong.
