What do you reckon?

Maybe finally finding his feet in the Prem?

Games not even over and it's the worst side in the prem.

Today he's looked good cos he's had space to cross which he does brilliantly. When he's tested defensively and passes with this kind of ease he will have settled.

can't defend for fucking toffee but in game like this with opposition setting record for least time on the ball he is mom.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Been great in the last month. Clichy will play in the big games but I do like this rotation thing.

Definitely the right choice for left back today.
He showed why.
Well done Aleks - keep it up!

Maybe he was the right choice earlier in some games, but just failed to provide.
Or maybe today he was the wrong choice, but provided some flanks and there you go.

Its easy to say something like that AFTER the mach. What a nonsense.

Your're missing the point. All Im saying that Kolarov could be easily pissed at and called names if he hadnt played like he did. Now after the game he's "alright".
To me he is what it is and Im not changing my oppinion on one right or wrong pass/cross.
Many people will praise him now and not a month ago he was "never to wear City shirt again". I just could not stand to read that and not say what I think, thats all mate.

No its not, Im saying that "he was the right choice for left back today" is easy to say after the game and that I wonder what would 90% of fans say before the match. Thats all and I hope you got what I meant to say.

God some people have short memories.

Fair play well done today, but I wouldnt trust him against anything other than the group of 5 bottom teams.

He really isn't very good at defending, and that is the primary job when on the pitch.

I think that's the point really. We all know he's limited...but against teams we know are gonna do nowt but defend (and teams who don't have a fast right winger) he's a better choice than Clichy. We just need to score and he's a more dangerous alternative to Gael. It is a squad game after all.
