No longer. Let's hear it for Mick McCarthy.
It's now "Tevez returns to city"
let's see how long that one stays up.

Indeed.
Note also the League Cup one. "Richards angry with penalty call". Just a little reminder.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

I see Delap got his red card recinded for his two footed sliding challenge. I thought that if a ref saw an incident and made his decision at the time the outcome could not be changed retrospectively - lack of a consistent application of the rules!

It was a case of mistaken identity - the ref thought he was a professional footballer.

Ok - I know that this example is petty, but lots of small things make up to big things.............
You will all be familiar with the white 'ticker' that rolls along the bottom of SSN in a cycle updating on certain sports.
When it just cam to 'Premier League' it gave an update on the weekend's games.
I thought that our comments were brief so replayed, the actual 'ticker count' - number of sections or reporting was:
On the scum game: 7 - 4 for the scum and 3 on spurs
On the CITY game: 3 - 2 for bolton and 1 for CITY
Whilst we had the briefest possible for the scum it was excitement about ROOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNEY being available and then comments form their beloved knight of the realm.
Of course if there was some bad news to report you can imagine it would have been up large (IM (rag-hating)O)

Absolutely pathetic.
This is the sort of utter rubbish that overshaddows genuine examples of unfair treatment and prompted me to start this thread

Calm down - I was seeking to introduce a little humour into a boring day - and I did point out that it was petty
But as for your response - it is a bit OTT so you can fuck off - that is all

Nah, never. I just can't see Sky, the PL or the FA wanting a certain club to win, or a certain club not to. Can you?

There are plenty. Also, how come that list mentions niggly incidents by our players, & possible second yellows but doesn't give a single example of any by opposing teams against us, of which there have been a plethora ?

Just listening to the radio and it seems every man and his dog believed it was a penalty, man being Taggart and Camel Gob being the dog. You can throw Evra into there as well.
Saying that, Taggart had a great excuse for the ref by saying he probably had the handball from the 1st half in his mind, obviously evening itself out. Ferdinand went one further and mentioned the penalty for Newcastle.
Oliver will be alright, he's got the backing from a knight of the realm. Him and Webb would've been invited for a personal interview last night; that expensive wine is so nice.

Maybe I'm just being a bit naive, but I find these two comments absolutely fucking incredible.
macmanaman saying "it IS a penalty, but you can understand that's a hard one to give to the away team at Old Trafford, because if he gives it and he's wrong he will be slated up and down the country"
“I think everyone in the stadium expected a penalty to be honest,” Jol told Sky Sports. “But you have to be brave to give a penalty away at Manchester United.
Not the fact that Mcpointy and Jol believe it, but the fact that it's seen as a perfectly acceptable state of affairs.

I get paranoid along with most others but really I don't think there is a conspiracy against us.
The media are against us in general of that there is no doubt.Custis basically confirmed that on the Manchester radio programme last week.
Pundits are generally very pro the scum. The commentary last night made me sick.Fawning over them as if they were Barca and telling us how brilliant and dominant they were and that's even though they hadnt created a chance by about 15 minutes and for me were looking very hesitant and nervous.
Such things might well have some influence on refs subconsciously but I don't believe there is anything corrupt about what goes on.
Do things even themselves out.Maybe a little bit but really the answer is no.The top teams at home I believe definitely get the benefit more than the bottom teams and the scum maybe more than most. To date I don't think we have got much of the benefit as a top team but maybe that will come.

Next time you twat I will leave you in a heap you biased red fucking twat.

Said it before. It isn't against us, it is pro them and against ANYONE who is in the way. We just happen to be the current team in the way. It even goes as far as demoting other ref's that don't comply.

Interesting to hear the story behind last night's panorama, allegations that sky hired a firm to hack On Digital's subscription codes and widely publlicise them to allow people to make their own cards and avoid countermeasures.
Turns out Sky were a 50% shareholder in a company linked to the website which provided the information.
Whilst it seems far fetched on the one hand, you have to wonder.........these people appear to be prepared to go to any lengths to ensure the outcome of any business matter is decided by them. Not much of a huge leap to suggest this may extend to referees
