Ted Hughes wrote:Arsenal showed last night how Premier League teams should play against this kind of oppo. We don't, we play like they do & drop to their pedestrian level. PL teams will always fuck up Italian teams if they play with tempo; really totally fuck them up. Their arses go completely.
In the second half, Arsenal bottled it & played like Milan instead of in the 1st half when they played like the rags Chelsea & Spurs (& scousers in the 2nd half of the final) have done when having any success at that level. Pace, tempo, width. Most non PL teams can't cope with it & they panic, as Milan did, even Thiago Silva did a Savic; they were shite, gutless & hopeless & Arsenal let them off the hook.
Bob needs to learn from that Arsenal game & from Spurs' exploits & compare the good rags performances to the shite ones. In almost all the best performances (including when Arse stepped it up at the end & beat Barca), it's tempo, pace & width which makes the difference. We plodded through our games playing on a huge chessboard, then fucked up on the very things we should be tight on. At home at least, we need to play much quicker & be much more direct from wide.
PeterParker wrote:To be fair to Milan, they are really the single italian squad that doesn't look italian, boring and predictable, on the first hand, and on the second hand, they didn't concentrate enough last night and before they could wake up, Arsenal had 3-0. In the second half it was a completely different game after they realised that play time is over.
And beside these arguments, if you add that their squad was full of injuries and they had two goalkeepers on the bench, you might understand why Arsenal was almost close to a comeback.
If you ask me, Arsenal are a bunch of spastic cunts, that can't deliver, that are not even half of how they were in the early 2000. I really hate the fact that they bent in important games, they fuck thing up for us like they did in every past three seasons. When we needed the most, Danny Rose scores the goal of his lifetime with them and they lose with Spurs, than play their ass of with us, in that 0-0. Then the next season Spurs beats them with 3-2, after they had 2-0 and the almost fuck thing up against for us, in that 4-4, but of course they manage to pull 4 points from us. Then again this season, they are absolutelly SHITE with scum, but they manage to play one of their games of the season with us, and with that clown of a gk they have jumping from post to post, after filth scored 8 past him.
Fuck them.

does anyone rate alex song? he almost plays the game we expect nigel to play, doesnt he?
few mistakes though nearing the final whistle but he ran hiss socks off and was a bit tired. but he has great positional awareness, and his passing is slightly better than nigels. he is still 24 i believe...but naaaah, fuck him.
Id really like if we had some young fast winger like Oxlade-Chamberlain.
another point, this might be an excellent result and could possibly have a negative influence on arsenal players and wear their new found good form a bit down, like the defeat against Birmingham last season had.

I think Song is much better than Nigel. He passes forward much often and more accurately. Heard the commentators during the Arse Scouse match say that he has more assists this season than Silva and Modric. If true then that is really something. And he can easily play at CB when required as has happened a few times this season. So a really versatile player and I for one would not mind seeing him in our squad (and Alex Ox too !)

2005: Liverpool come back from 3-0 down to beat shithouse bottlers AC Milan & win the Chumps League.
March 2008: AC Milan 0 Arsenal 2 Arsenal go through.
Nov 2008 (Uefa Cup) Portsmouth 2 AC Milan 2, Milan manage to claw back 2 goals & sneak through v Portsmouth, yes PORTSMOUTH 2 !!!!.
2010: AC Milan 2 Man Utd 3, Man Utd 4 AC Milan 0. Utd shit all over Milan & go through.
2011: AC Milan 0 Spurs 1 Spurs go through.
2012: Arsenal 3 AC Milan 0 AC Milan go through purely because a shitty Arsenal had a bad day & let them score 4 in first leg .
And when we play them in the future, we will rip them a new fucking arsehole just like most other English clubs who have played them. I think you only took an interest in our football when Dzeko came here or you wouldn't have said that nonsense about Milan compared to English teams.
Have a look at Inter's record, apart from Mourinho's team, our clubs chew them up & spit them out as well.

You are one of those 'history' muppets who believes Man Utd will always be better than us? Look at the RECENT results v English teams. If English teams get stuck nto AC Milan, they shit themselves. That's what I'm talking about.
I'm not fucking interested in what they did in 1978 for fucks sake!

so much of the english teams destroying AC its balanced like i said you confused AC with some Polish club 7 C L mate thats not litle and 5 in last 25 years not like Real win like from 9 they win 5 in 1950 when was 10 decent clubs...Also they have won more international titles than any other club in the world, totalling 18.
You are one of those 'history' muppets who believes Man Utd will always be better than us? Look at the RECENT results v English teams. If English teams get stuck nto AC Milan, they shit themselves. That's what I'm talking about.
I'm not fucking interested in what they did in 1978 for fucks sake!
oh ffs man are u blind they beat arsenal 4 0 in 2006-2007 they beat utd and liverpool year before that again they beat rags so wtf u taklking abaut 78 u are one of the guys who will ignore arguments just to win and be smart here its all there just read and who thinks or talk abaut rags at all, i m talking how u make English clubs look like supermens and they lose games of Basel , Napoli ,AC , so Ted u can spin it how u want but u are wrong u just need to read up there.....milan vs english clubs 12 wins 12 lost 13 draws goal difrence 45 42 ...
