“Van Persie at this moment is one of the best strikers in Europe with Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and with Sergio Agüero and Mario Balotelli. I think he is a fantastic striker, but I think he will remain with Arsenal.
So basically anyone would want RVP or they would be a lunatic.
Not sure our paymasters will sanction the required funds for a player with no sell-on value though. Thanks to Mr Platini and his anti-investment rules.
If I were Edin, that quote would have pissed me off.

Not as much as it will piss off Palus!

Plus I'm sick of robbing arsenals players. We've had enough. Higuin for Tevez I'd be up for tho.

Higuian couldn't lace RVP's boots. They are in a different class.

I dont understand people saying they would not take RVP. Proven premiership player who would score a boat load for us. Not sure he would like to rotate but i would take him in a heartbeat. Is Higuin even playing at Real, not heard his name for awhile now? Would he adapt to the prem??

Sheep factor.
Its unfashionable to admit that there are top drawer players in the Prem who dont play for City.... Bale shit, RVP shit, Modric shit, etc etc.
Its very fashionable to be critical of any player in the Prem who is doing well.
Similar the ridiculous posts you see about other teams intentionally losing to the rags. Apparently Redknapp (sorry 'Arry as is the new board way) rested Bale last Sunday because he hates City and loves the rags.
A few dick head posters set the agenda for many on here at the moment, unfortunately.

IMO RVP will be the reason that Silva doenst win POY. He has been superb all season and no blue tinted specs can hide that fact. His goal ratio is 2nd to none. I think he would be fantastic for us and would help us up the next rung of the ladder if he could stay fit.

I'm well aware of that. Hes a good option for a Tevez replacement though and a lot younger.
I'm also not denying RVP has been fucking immense this season.
What I'm saying is now we have such a good side we don't need to go out and buy every player who finds top form. RVP is aging, injury probe and an iffy character. I'm not saying he wouldn't improve the squad, all top players do. I'm saying we don't need him with what we have.
Pretty Boy Lee wrote:He's aging in the sense well get him in on big money and make a huge loss within a year or two.
My Arsenal mates all think he's dodgy, character wise, plus he's come across as a cunt more than once.
I've watched Higuin a few times over the ladt few years, mostly at intetnational level but a few times for Real and I don't think he's better than RVP, but he's young and looks a good player who could push on and become really good. Also I'm basing wanting him on the assumption Tevez goes and our other three stay.
Pretty Boy Lee wrote:Sure it's less evidence than calling you snide, but hey.
I'm also gathering you think moving countries devalues your opinion. If not your tones just making you sound an arse.

No, I just thought your post lacked any sort of decent rationale and was just an arrangement of words.
My Aresenal mates think he's dodgy......really?......ungrateful cunts! You made that one up, didn't you?
Higuain is good and can be really good......right.
RVP is too old.....Really, looks pretty fucking decent to me.
