"When you have a calf (injury), it can be a big problem. I hope he can recover in 10 days, two weeks maximum. We will see how it is in another one or two days."

If Vinny's injury was long term, any kind of injury to Lescott would kill our title hope stone dead. We will not win enough games to take the title if both those players are missing & it's doubtful we would beat the rags.
Next season, we are hoping to go a long way in the Champion's Lg. If we don't sign another CB it won't happen.

Just seen a printed version of the MUEN & it says Lescott finished the game with a groin problem.
The words 'chickens' & 'roost' come to mind.

Fucking hell.
Looks like we may have to go back to the school of "we'll score one more than you" if they are both missing.
In all honesty though whilst chelsea and arsenal would be a worry with just kolo and savic, we should have enough in other areas of the pitch to out gun most of the rest. i would just switch to playing 3 at the back with micah in the middle and let milner play rwb
That way dzeko could be accommodated, and to be honest i think we will have to try something different or games like norwich, stoke, wolves could prove tricky
