Just watched this weeks 'Inside City' on the official site. Showed the reserve match that Tevez played in. When he came out quite a few people were shouting 'Come on Carlos!' Why? Fair enough if you don't want to boo him and just keep a dignified silence. But why cheer him? Genuine question. He's pissed all over us.

Why shouldn't people encourage him mate. Doing otherwise....silence or even booing can only possibly risk doing damage to the club/team/season.

I don't disagree that he's behaved terribly but given the choice of Thursday night's Dzeko coming on in one of our remaining games or an eager, motivated Tevez...I would choose the later 10 times out of 10.

I do hope we can sell in the summer as I just want this chapter closed but til then he can help and we need to do our part in ensuring his is able/willing to do so

I won't boo him. I'll just sit there and sing Mancini's name. But I really could never encourage him or sing his name.

When he pulls that shirt on I'll be supporting him just like any other player. I'll be willing him on to score, scream at him to chase back, shout at him to see the opening and jump up and down screaming like a mad man when he scores. Other than that, I don't care.

i actually believe, as fucled as this will sound, that Tevez will play a very important role in the next 2 months, and that on the back of that he might actually stay here and we might see Edin along with Palus shifted in the summer, which would have the drawback of potentially bringing Slim back into the fold, but i'll take that if we win the league.

You may be right - he deliberately misses a load of chances, we lose the league, Mancini gets sacked and we are left with Herman.

joke all you want...Tevez doesn't fucking know anything other than 5th gear...and this game is his life. He's probably fucking gutted at how much he's let his assclown advisor fuck him up. Lost money. No respect. Fan hatred. Media scorn.

He's got to climb out of hell, and what better stage is there than this to do it upon?

It wasn't his advisor that told him to fucl off to Argentina to graze on the Pampas for three months (in my opinion)

i dunno...there's two schools of thought here:

Tevez, tho dim, is his own man. He's probably insane.
Kia is the deep lying playmaker suggesting every move, which in the past has always worked and made Tevez sacks of cash.

I'm not sure those are mutually exclusive. And i don't think he'd have just fucked off to Argentina without Kia knowing/understanding what they both thought the end game was.

KJ knew nothing about it, which actually says a lot about their relationship. They've had falling-out's before, I reckon.

Tevez is tempramental and holds grudges, and doesn't like losing. He's also got a cnut of an advisor dripping poison in his ear, but I'm convinced his reaction (in sodding off to Argentina) was his own. I've seen him a few times before Munich 'aggresively warming up' while looking at Mancini, and Bob has put him in his place once or twice because of it (having him warm up nearly the whole second half just to be brought on in the 88th or 89th minute) so the whole incident plus disciplinary action was one long linked series of events to me.

sauce? maybe i just wasn't paying attention, but i find it hard to believe, no matter what Kia might have said.

No source mate, he said it himself on the radio and thus the need for the quick response team after he fucked off. I know for certain that him and Kia have had tiffs before where Kia had gone behind his back. I think this time Tevez had really had enough of it all so just did one.

Re: Tevez

Mario Balotelli has called on Manchester City fans to welcome back Carlos Tevez as the former skipper is eased back into first-team action.

Tevez, who went AWOL in his homeland after he refused to warm-up in a Champions League game in Munich, scored for the City reserve team against Bolton on Tuesday. The match was Tevez's second on-field appearance since returning to England last month, and Balotelli believes the club's supporters should forgive the Argentine for his self-imposed five-month absence.

"I think supporters have to be like they were before," Balotelli said. "If they make pressure on Carlos, they make pressure to all the team, so they should do nothing.

"I think everyone can make a mistake. Carlos is part of the team. He's just a part of the team, so everybody loves him."

Meanwhile, as league-leading City prepare to take on Swansea on Sunday, Roberto Mancini has targeted 99 points to end the club's 44-year championship drought.

Balotelli has caused his fair share of controversy for the manager this term, but the 21-year-old dismissed the media's interest in his private life, insisting Mancini's influence is the only matter of importance.

"I don't like when people talk about my business with my life. I'm really private," said Balotelli. "Maybe some people think I'm really arrogant. I don't care, they can say what they want. I'm a footballer so the most important moment is Sunday on the pitch.

"If I go in the street and one guy gets a picture, they say, 'Mario was there'. Someone calls the press and says, 'Mario was there'. The day after that they say, 'Mario was there'. Is that normal? I'm just walking in town like a normal guy or I go to the pub. I've been to the pub, yeah. Not to drink.

"If Mancini wasn't here I'm never coming. Now that I am here I'm OK. I'm happy. If Mancini says something, he's right. I'm 21, I'm still young. I think already from last year I'm bigger in my head."

I really hope that won't be the case. But if he stays and we don't have to endure any more off-field nonsense, I could deffo live with it. It could actually prove to be yet another thing were the bias from media and other supporters further strengthens a feeling of us vs them in the squad. But as I said, I really hope he'll go.

I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

I can't see any way he'll be here next season unless he parts company with KJ.

Joorabchian will be doing the groundwork for a move right now & talking to that slimey, bent, frogfaced, twat from Milan.

I imagine it will just be a case of calling a truce until the season finishes as it's in both interests for Tevez to be performing at his best.
