Our away record since the swamp match is:

Won 3
Lost 4
Drawn 2 Scored 7 and 8 against

Arguably it's the away games which are the biggest and we have also lost to Liverpool(overall),the scum,Napoli and Sporting in this time.

The wins were QPR,Wigan and Villa. 3 crap teams we should be beating and maybe we had a little luck in those 3 but generally away from home, since the opposition have started to park the bus, we have been lost in how to create chances. We have to work it out immediately or we have no chance of the league this season.

Some key players are playing well below par at the moment in Silva,Aguero and Nasri and you could add a few more to that list. It's dig in time, beat Chelsea and then sort out that away form. The question is how

I am just concerned on a psychological level what its going to do to me and us as fans if we blow it this year, it will be devestating and I for one will be forking out a wad of cash to my rag mates which will just add insult to injury.

These are the games I fucking hate. If we have ambitions of winning the title then these are the ones we need to win.
At times this team reminds me of Arsenal when all the gushing about how great they are had died down and we just watched them pass the ball from one fucking side of the pitch to the other, scared shitless to shoot in case all their possession didn;t lead to a goal.
I'd rather see us go gung-ho and pepper their goal and the keeper play a blinder and lose 1-0 than pussy about withthe ball.

Of course it won't.

That's something Merson is trying to spread around or some shit.

"If we don't win it now, we'll never win it".

You'd swear we were never relegated. We have had more psychological shit thrown at us than most teams around. That's the one area where we have LOADS of experience.

We pick ourselves up and we get on with it. This match... this season if need be. Being one point behind those horrible cunts with ten matches to go and a home game six pointer to come is certainly not going to have me hanging from the rafters just yet.

The team overall was better than Swansea, but there was nothing concrete in the offense.
No final pass, no crosses, no cut-ins...

Balotelli was the greatest threat today IMO and he had a decent match.
Aguero was non-existant, not to mention Silva or Nasri.

I think Kolarov, Pizza and Dzeko would do much more damage today, at least Mancini should put in some of them in 60th minute, the latest.

Im really begining to hate Mancini.

Amen to that. If someone offered me this scenario at the start of the season I would have taken it.

They slipped up and we failed to deliver. That's the whole point, there is no throwing the towel, it's realising that if you don't wake up quick, you will fuck things up in front of a team that is more corrupted that the Cosa Nostra.

The problem is, that there is no chance whatsoever of us not slipping up unless we change immediately. It's not a blip, it's what we are now; poor away from home. As it stands, the most likely outcome is that we come second, not because the rags are so fantastic but because we will drop more points.

The two performances this week are nowhere near good enough to beat Newcastle, probably would see us lose to Norwich & humilliated by Arsenal, whom Bob has just wound up so they'll treat it like a cup game.

We have to up our game or we aren't going to win it. That's not lack of faith, it's just the truth of where we are up to.
