Us out of CL, out of the FA cup, no CC and slipped to second in the league after losing to Swansea with our 2 best CB's injured from a Europa league game.
Scum out of CL, out of FA cup, no Cc and looking likely to go out of Europa tonight.
Liverpool, CC and still in the FA cup but no Europe and probably won't even qualify for the Europa next year either.

The days of the top 4 being in the last 8 of the CL, the semi's of the FA cup with a massive gap between 4th and 5th are over. It was only possible because the league was so tipped in their favour by CL money and everyone just rolled over for them and played for 5th. The league has become much more competitive now and it's simply too hard to try and win everything. We need to prioritise at the start of each season. Barca and real will be doing it for a long time because that league is a fucking joke but hopefully those days are over for us. I don't want to be the best team in a shit league, I want to see competition.

We need to go through. All this talk of "concentrating on one competition" should be a thing of the past. We are ranked as one of the top ten teams in Europe we need to get used to playing in multiple competitions. We need to practice pushing on multiple fronts. Elite players will demand it.
