Perhaps people should read the first line of my post instead of looking for something to pounce on.

Eeerie to see that today, brought back some awful memories.

I hope he can pull through, I was amazed how quickly the medical teams were operating, within seconds of them being on the pitch they were doing the utmost to save the mans life. Total and utter respect to them

Luckily the 99% of fans from all clubs will treat the situation with the respect this deserves. Can only hope the man pulls through.

For some of you who have made the same comments about taggart Rooney or called the rags Munichs get the fuck off the holier than thou bandwagon.

While I dont at all support the last part of Chopper's original post about Rooney I do have to slightly agree with the latter half of his above post. Many on here have said stuff about wishing Fergie was dead or that Rooney was injured or killed or something of that nature...while it may have been in a sort of joking manner it's still fucked up. Hopefully a terrible incident like this will put the game of football in perspective and dampen some of the hate that often covers these forums.
Just my 2¢ on the matter.

Hopefully Muamba pulls through.

Genocide on the Iberian Peninsula near the top of page one even as I type... And how many on here tubthump about "asylum seekers" when they get the chance too? If they had there way Mumba's family would have been sent back to the Congo 15 years ago to probable death.

Most offensive posts though are those calling for us all to be Bolton fans for the night. NO! Sympathy and hopes are with Patrice, his family and his friends not the club's fans.

Horrible, horrible news. He has a son and just got engaged last month. Hope to hear some good news very soon.

Was impressed with Pirlo coming out and dedicating Juve's win to him a few hours ago.

After Foe, Feher, Puerta and Jarque, are routine ECG's still not mandatory for Premier League footballers? I know they are for everyone the World Cup.

Given the situation, that seems like an incredibly unimportant distinction to me. And in no way is that more offensive than wishing death on Rooney/Ferguson/whoever else (which is tacky and classless at the best of times, let alone in a thread like this).

Take your point but ffs, behave. Personally I have more self respect than to call the Munich thing. It's irrelevant though. If you wanna make it relevant, then two snides don't make an ok, but fuck that. Come on. Seriously.

This is horrible.

Just hope he gets through it. If he does it will be down to the skills of the medical staff, especially those first on the scene.
