We can win this, but there are a lot of third party factors that influence this head-to-head race, that does the job almost impossible.

In the conditions the Premiership is looking at this moment, teams beside the filth, need steel nerves to make it.

A win on wednesday would be a massive statement to everyone that Alan Hansen is a pratt.

Didn't watch what he said, but let me guess, "Chelsea is a great team, this comeback with Di Matteo will be the key factor of them winning with City, who will collapse, yada, yada, yada?"

For me, when you see a game like Wolves - Scum (a game where they deserve to win 100 %) is given to the hands of a ref who makes his debut and in his first 40 minutes, he give 2 yellow cards to the same player, in the Premiership, not Spanish la Liga and other leagues, (the only other episode like this was with Cattermole, in the start of the season) it's a clear sign that the season is over.

Mahvelous.

I hope we give them a good old battering. Cant stand that club. Fickle pricks who have too much power. I do however like Torres. Feel bad for the guy, he's a class player who has been destroyed by that club.

Its gonna be interesting to see if we can give them a battering with Kolo and Savic in the middle of defense, as it stands now. Although I really hope that at least one can recover by Wednesday
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

Read again what i've said. We can win this, but we can't control the other things, beside what happens on the pitch and saddly, they can. Just sayin...

Quik poll:

If we don't win on Wednesday, which is essentially the end of the title race, should Bobby get the sack?

I think some people need to stop patting their front bums and grow a set!

if we lose on Wednesday do you see us as having a realistic chance of winning the title? I don't. I'm not a quitter... I'm more of a realist. I'll be happy to be proven wrong though.

I do agree that Bobby should stay no matter what the result in the end is.

Depends if anyone grows a set of balls & gives the rags a game.

I will say this: if we win v Chelsea & Arsenal, I think we will win the title & the rags will blow it completely with an unexpected result v one of the teams they're expected to cruise against, due to Johnny Evans & Co cracking under the pressure they don't feel.

There's still going to be twists and turns, as they say, and it may all come down to one game - Chelsea, Arsenal, United, or even Norwich. For me though, although it will be disappointing, if we lose the league to United then it's not the end of the world. We've played amazingly at parts this season and should finish with a massive points tally. If United get more than us then you've just got to shrug your shoulders (or a bit more depedant on who you are), brush yourself down and get ready for next season.

Mancio4Eva has alluded to the fact that we have had some poor decisions against us and that they have had some fortunate ones go for them, and we're still within touching distance. It got to a point where even one of ours had to make a formal statement regarding certain calls by the refereeing fraternity.

We've done well whatever position we finish and if you need that quantifying, just give me a shout. I'll be more than welcome to bring up a few stats.
