I mentioned in the match thread about some good support - every time we started an attack there was a surge of noise willing them on. Really came across on TV.

It was bouncing, I can only imagine the feeling the players get from that. Vinny mentioned it on his facebook and made comment about it.

Agreed - the last 10 mins was reminiscent of the Europa League QF vs Hamburg a few seasons ago. Electric! If only it was like that from the word go

sounded great on telly that. don't know how loud it was in reality but right when we went 1 nil down there was a loud 'Blue Moon' sung.
exactly the right thing to do, get behind the team when support is needed

It was very loud, all areas of the ground were at it. These people need to get more involved and not leave it to the SS and 110/111/112. Teams would not want to come if it was that noisy.

Think the noise spurred everyone one fans and players! still laughed at the pair who left as soon as the penalty went in! What more did city have to do?

THIS WAS ONE OF MY FAVOURITE THINGS EVER AT A CITY GAME.

So much so I had to put it in CARLPITALS.

Seriously though, everyone was on it in a instant. Nutty Boys. Nutty Girls. We were fantastic, and the Chelsea fans just looked so, so hurt. Absolute madness.

It was the first time - EVER - I came away from a city game at that ground and heard fans singing in the car park coming out of the ground. Not just a few, but thousands behind the Colin Bell stand as people made their way home.

We had quite a bit at the back of East Stand, it was brilliant!

I thought it was good all night last night - especially with how its been at some points this season.

It was bouncing in the stadium at the end, and as Goataldo said - The chelski fans looked so down! My favourite home game this year for sure.

Perhaps I am setting myself up for it here, but what is the history behind this? Why this song?
