Nonsense hes well paid to discuss all football matters and surely he is supposed to provide a bit of balance(common sense) to the equation when one of his colleagues is gone so far off the mark.

Watched Match of the Day and a re-run of the game this morning on Sky.

Quite amazed at Hansens claim that it wasn't a penalty and surprised that he didn't have a rant at the poor officiating, because my eyes followed the ball last night and the linesman had his flag across his chest and then raised at almost the precise moment that the ref blew his whistle, which was pretty damn *ucking quick.

Very few complaints from the Chelski players and even Matteo's grumblings were fairly muted. Mind you someone did mention about Lescotts similar penalty at The Bridge and the fact that it had probably evened things up. Might have been Dixon.

Hansen doesnt like to be shown to be wrong after his capitulation comments so was always going to say it was a lucky penalty.Quite right that the ref and linesman were together in awarding the penalty and like it or not they tend to be given when a player lunges in front of a shot or cross and the ball hits a hand which is above the head. Lescott's was just that and even Micah's at Anfield was similar even though the ball was deflected off his foot.

The suggestion I heard this morning was that Dean evened things up after realising that Barry was fouled to assist with Chelsea's opener.Utter garbage as usual.

The bias was summed up when Hansen was effectively saying City were lucky to come from behind to win but QPR were heroic.

I still think we should complain about him and She-Ra getting pissed before the Carling Cup broadcast.

Hansen is just trying to be outspoken. Up until Christmas he was purring over us every week to be fair.

I don't like him either, but still he was 100 % correct of what he said about Mario, although i don't agree with the fact that he thinks Bob will never use him as a starter again this season

What, that he attracts media attention, despite the same channel the week before interviewing him and him saying that virtually all the stories about him were made up? There were also the big radio 5 special on Balotelli. 90 minute discussion on him. So the BBC interview him and make him the topic for a programme and then decide there's too much media about him?

Since when did we let the media pick the team?

No, if i recall correct he said that Mario didn't showed much interested in the game with Chelsea and then they showed some moments in the first half where he argued with Aguero and Nasri. This time he didn't talked about the Mario outside the pitch.

They edited that though. With Aguero, they both had a different opinion - Aguero wanted it to feet, Mario was telling him to run onto it. They didn't show Mario's hand signals though, just him looking glum from some point in the game.

With Nasri, he wanted the ball rather than playing it to Zab. What striker doesn't want the ball in the area? Shearer was giving Torres grief the other week for not wanting the ball

They then showed him losing the ball and had a go at him for not tracking back. Would have been valid if the same shot hadn't also shown the linesman flagging for a foul.

Hansen had written his script with Mario taken off and us 1-0 down. Despite being on £2m a year or whatever it is, he clearly couldn't be bothered to find something else to talk about such as how champions grind out results like that
