Wio....City fans have come out of the woodwork...

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

What fan would want to stay IN the woodwork with the amount of times we hit it per game?

Can someone for once and all explain this to me? Experience in title races? 6 or 7 of the squad maybe? Outside of Rooney, Evra, Giggs, Scholes (he of 15 games this year) and Nani (I am sure I forgot someone who is warming their bench), who are playing game in and game out (which Wio clearly isn't) has experienced a title race as a first team player?

De Gea, Cleverly, Young, Jones and Welbeck are all "new" to the team, and Hernandez surely has never experienced a title race in the PL - as last year wasn't much of a race. Last I checked that is about half their starting 11, and guys like Evans have never really played in the past when it matters. I am just sick of hearing about the experience, it it a minority of their contribting squad.

Last I checked we have several players that have won titles in other countries, pressure is pressure. Experience or not, you still have to deal with it. When we win, what will they say about experience?

Perhaps we should start by explaining that Citys second leg against sporting lesbian was a home game.

This twat must be talking about London!!! In Manchester there's blue shirts everywhere but in London they're all wearing the scum red the glory hunters... That prick is from London after all.

Sister of fu wrote:Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand says Manchester City fans have come "out of the woodwork".

City are a point behind Premier League leaders United with nine games to play.

Ferdinand, 33, told BBC Sport: "Walking around in town, you see more and more blue shirts than you probably ever would have seen over the last 10 years.

"But success sometimes brings people out of the woodwork. So fingers crossed we can delay that and make sure that we get this title sewn up this season."

Earlier in the season, City held a five-point lead over United at the top of the table, but now trail Six Alex Ferguson's side after a run of form that has seen the Red Devils win eight of their last nine matches.

When asked if the title might hinge on the game between City and United at the Etihad Stadium on 30 April, Ferdinand responded: "Who knows? We'll have to wait and see. In an ideal world, we'll have it sewn up by the time we go there.

"But I don't expect it to be finished by the time we go their stadium."

"Every game is a cup final now. Every result now is going to sway the title this way or that. If we win the games that we've got left, we win the league. But it's not as easy as that."

United have won the title on 12 occasions since City last triumphed in 1968, but Ferdinand does not believe that there is an extra edge to United's preparations though due to their local rivals being their nearest challengers.

"At Manchester United, that edge comes from within," said the former England captain. "We drive each other on as individuals, as a collective. No matter who we are rivals with for our title, it doesn't matter really matter."

.............I suppose its better than China, Singapore, Ireland and London you twunt!!!!

Thanks for doing todays Bollox Fuey but I thought we'd agreed the title was the standard one?

thanks mate. I'm the sole culprit here as I excerpted the Beeks great quote from the last year's derby build up. It fair to say I the one to blame... :-)

If vinny or lescott came out with as much shit as this camel faced coke head gangster wannabe did I would fucking cringe every time I read his name in the paper knowing what was coming.

I hope he plays in the derby though.

I think that following a club (being a fan), once in a while requires one to be a bit hypocritical.Everybody, EVERYBODY,says something that is not completely PC every now and then methinks. Some enjoy it
