The difference is Taggart didn't say he'd never play for them again. Mancini did.

The difference is, once Mancini had cooled down he then said if Carlos apologises then he will be allowed back. Mancini kept to his word whereas Taggart has now gone against his after stating that Mancini handled the matter correctly.

He wasn't happy with Paddy's statement and made a huge show of his attack on Mancini. What has to be remembered is that Mancini has not said a word yet Taggart seemingly reacted, not to the person who said it, but to one of his fellow managers. Has Mancini said anything about the Wrinkly Rogerers/Camel Smackers/Brothers Wifes Back Door Cowboy outbursts? I think not.
