With lescott and kompany coming back Tevez obviouslt playing back into the squad, how will he figure? I feel a bit sorry for him. Maybe him and dzeko will trade places? I thought dzeko played a big part when he came on, but we need to show him and aguero a clock and corner flag!

Im not arsed about Johnno but I hear you regards Dzeko. He was Chelsea best passer in the last five minutes.

ooofff! true dat.

as a pessimist, i would say that bobby's subs got him out of a very big jail tonight - however, we really deserved to win.

Seriously? Were you watching the same game as the rest of us? Dzeko was absolutely awful when he came on - his only contribution was to help Chelsea's cause as he gave the ball away and fell over all the time! The fact that Tevez came on before him would suggest that his time is up

How about a thought for poor James Milner?

AJ has had games lately and done nowt, where ad Milner was in top form then seemed to fall off the face of Bobby's earth!

We just dont have room for everyone, him and pizzaro not even on the bench. Everyone is needed its a squad game and hes had plenty of game time recently, he could go straight back into the team next week or he might not even be a sub its the joys of having such a great squad. I would personally always have him at least on the bench as he is the only player we have who offers us genuine width and i think he will be vital in some matches.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He played a big part in that victory despite some woeful touches. He forced the corner which led to the penalty but more importantly he occupied Cahill giving Aguero and T***z more space to do their thing.

I'd have in the team over Silva just at the moment.

Now if you had said a tall part then I would agree with you but he really didn't put the effort in for me and I'm a very pro Dzeko supporter.

Narrow pitch at Stoke could suit AJ & Dzeko.

Exactly, all he offered was some height that was needed at that point to force Chelsea to defend differently, but it did seem to open space up for Tevez, Nasri and Aguero.

If AJ put a shift in for a full 90 mins then I'd feel sorry for him.

AJ has a different class and is suited to some type of games like maybe the weekend game with Stoke. I don't think he's playing to his full potential though. As regards to Dzeko.... I don't see what others see in him. I watched the game last night and every time Dzeko touched the ball it was either a bad touch or a poor pass and he doesn't even hold the ball up anymore. When he play's, I fear the worst. Sorry to say this but he dies not fit in....

I think there is potential to rest Silva and his ankle and let Milner play - if only so we can beat the first man at corners!

resting silva and playing nasri and johnson is a good shout for stoke I think. give him 90 minutes to prove he can perform ... nasri as well. If he can't he'll have to be happy with a rotation spot, simple.

AJ is Matthew Etherington incarnate, and he has "thrived" at the Britannia and its narrow pitch. AJ shooting for Dzeko's head would work well I suspect or at least occupy Shawcross.
